Han stepped off the plane and quickly was escorted to the nearest taxi parked in front of the airport entrance by SM bodyguards in order to avoid the paparazzi and fans. He was in a hurry. He gave the taxi driver the address and leaned his head against the window. A sigh escaped from his mouth.

How was he going to explain this? He broke his promise: the first promise he had ever broken. He felt guilty. He broke her heart and his as well.

Heaving a sigh once again, he looked down at his phone and tried calling his girlfriend again. She still wasn't picking up. This was the tenth time he called her since boarding the plane to Seoul, also sending multiple text messages, some pleading for her to reply. He was worried and hoped she wasn't severely suffering from yesterday, but he knew she was. He would too if he were in her situation.

As the taxi neared her house, his heart started to race rapidly. He was getting nervous, perspiration quickly consumed his hands and forehead. He gulped and got out of the vehicle, but then noticed her car wasn't in the driveway. Was she not in her house?

He paid the taxi driver and walked up the porch steps. Even if she wasn't at home, he was going to wait for her. It was the least he could do for bailing on her yesterday. He sat on the steps and continued to call and text her, praying she would respond. He was getting desparate. 

Her car suddenly appeared down the street, heading for the house. He jumped to his feet and watched the car go into the driveway. This was it. He was finally going to face her. The lump in his throat refused to go down as the driver door slowly opened, and his heart was racing out of control. It wouldn't surprise him if ended up having a massive heart attack.

Sadly, he was greeted with disappointment when Manager Siwan stepped out of the vehicle. Why did he have her car?

"Good afternoon, Han," he said doing his best to look positive. The lad's presence intimidated him.

"Where's Jessica? Why do you have her car?" He got right to the point.

Siwan sighed. "It's a long story." He walked up the porch steps. "Jessica is inside." He rang the doorbell.
