What was the most shocking moment in one's life?

In Jinwoo's case, it was the day when his roommate Kang Seungyoon became the first person to be awake in the dorm.

"Ah hyung! Morning!" Seungyoon called out to Jinwoo brightly before returning his gaze back to a fashion magazine.

Contrary to Seungyoon's cheerful morning greeting, Jinwoo was in a state of shock. Nothing but shock.

The maknae line duo had never been morning people. Even waking them up was a tedious task which the three older members had to carry out on a daily basis.

Thus, for Seungyoon to wake up earlier than Jinwoo would be as probable as Jinwoo being able to find his own way to foreign places all by himself. 

Which meant improbable.

As the eldest's doe-like eyes enlarged while he attempts to process the unfamiliar scene which he was witnessing, Seunghoon appeared beside Jinwoo with a glass of milk in his hand.

"I know, hyung. This kid must have hit his head somewhere. It's hard to believe our Seungyoonie is awake this early in the day." Seunghoon patted Jinwoo's shoulder empathetically.

Much perturbed by the situation, Seunghoon decided to investigate the cause of this unbelievable phenomenon.

"Seungyoon ah. Why are you up so early today? No wait. Did you even sleep?!"

Seungyoon lifted his gaze from the magazine to Seunghoon and said in an offended tone, "Hyung! You're making me sound like I can't wake up early for once!"

"I woke up because I was hungry. But I couldn't get back to sleep after eating. That's all"

"Eh?! Seungyoon you skipped meals again, didn't you! You should take better care of yourself!" Jinwoo clearly took Seungyoon's words for it as he chided the latter out of concern.

On the contrary, Seunghoon did not buy the leader's words. Not a single bit.

Something feels off.

Seunghoon was always sharp and quick at noticing things, and right now, his guts were telling him that Seungyoon was lying.

Of course, Seunghoon's conjecture was true. After taking paracetamol to relieve his conditions, Seungyoon did attempt to return to sleep. However, the medicine did not seem to have much pain relief effect on his illness as the constant throbbing pain from his throat and head hampered his efforts to catch some sleep. Seungyoon eventually gave up on sleep and simply tried to find something to do in order to divert his attention away from the pain. But of course, Seungyoon has no intentions of telling this to the rest of the members.

Despite his skepticism, Seunghoon did not voice out his suspicions as he knew all too well that there was no way of getting the truth out of Seungyoon if he decided to hide it. Thus, Seunghoon decided to keep an eye on this mature but somewhat worrisome brother of theirs in case what Seungyoon had been hiding was something serious.

Meanwhile, Taehyun lost all signs of sleepiness when he entered the living room.

"What's this! Why is Kang Seungyoon awake before me!"

"Ya! It's Seungyoon hyung for you!" Mino corrected Taehyun sternly before directing his words to Seungyoon, "You didn't get any more sleep after 5am? Don't faint on us later on!"

The last sentence was only a joke, and Seungyoon knew that as well. Still, he could not stop himself from biting his lips out of worry as he thought to himself, Yeah. I can't faint on you guys. But before that, there's a greater problem right now......

"Ya, Song Mino!" Seungyoon yelled at the other man in annoyance.

"What? What did I do?" Mino, apparently still oblivious to the problem, asked.

"EH?! WHAT?! 5AM?! DIDN'T YOU COME BACK AFTER 3AM?! YA KANG SEUNGYOON YOU CRAZY IDIOT!!!" The remaining three members exclaimed in shock, anger and concern as they digested the new piece of information which Mino unknowingly divulged.

After hearing the incessant yells coming from the others, a look of sudden realisation dawn upon Mino as he said, "OH! This is what I did! Seungyoon ah! Sorry!"

And thus, WINNER's morning of this fateful day began with much yelling, shock and a sense of foreboding of what was to come later in the day.
