Description

For the first time in his life Luhan is alone in his mind, no shared thoughts or feelings lingering just beneath his own. Just an empty void where the warmth of his pack mate's shared consciousness had once been, where the warmth of his mate and pups had once been.

Foreword

Written for pinkjuliette on livejournal during ONLAYFORLU's fic exchange last year. Since then, some small corrections have been made and there are plans to further flesh this fic out in the future, but for now this is it.

Chapter 1: This is beautiful and you should consider a sequel/prequel or bonus chapter , progress between the two of them and Luhan should be happy again with his new life .

Chapter 1: wow this was so amazing! D: So gwaddamn amazing! I mean- I'm kind of at a loss for words except 'amazing'. And my heart really aches for the entire pack. Even though their stay was short, I just bonded so rapidly with them and I wanted them around. There was abeauty to everything that just had threads connecting between me and the words. The thought of Minseok and Luhan's pups, the thought of the entire pack, brothers, bonds, babes, just- wow man.
I wished they'd survived.
This story is geared towards layhan but all I feel is luhan and pain and luhan and minseok and luhan and pain and luhan and pups and luhan and pack and luhan and pain and omg WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY FEELS! They're frigging scattered all over the place!
The words you used to describe the torn pack consciousness ༼ ༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ༽ (I don't bring out my ugly crying face regularly you know)
I think I'm mentally distressed over the entire pack. You should really put in a warning for character death (even though the summary more or less hints towards it). Yea. that's probably it. I'm fretting over the deaths of fictional characters. oh my god. well eff.

I know this story is complete, but I subscribed anyway in the hopes that you'd link the sequel here. Can I be a little forward and request for a prequel as well? I don't think I'm ready to let go of the beautiful thing Minseok and Luhan had, or the bond the pack shared, or the love the pups needed. It would be grand if you could make something for that too.

Anyhow, this was a great fic. It was beautiful and cruel and I loved Yixing's character. Loneliness is ... yea ... I liked Yixing a lot. I also loved how you didn't rush them into a relationship but Yixing offered to be brothers first - a pack bond. Thank you. It will obviously take time for Luhan for heal (AND OMFG WHERE HE NOTICES YIXING'S GROWING AFFECTIONS TOWARDS HIM BUT CAN'T BE CERTAIN B/C HE CAN'T READ HIS MIND B/C HE FEELS SO UNSURE WITHOUT THE COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS -wheezing-)
