It had been 4 weeks after the car accident and Myungsoo had recovered well.
He was coming home today.
You were sat in the living room of his house waiting patiently for his arrival.
For the 3 weeks that he was in a coma you were there by his side.
You sat by his bed everyday and never let go of his hand.
The other week after? You were too busy with exams, studies and starting a new part-time job.

A car came up the driveway and your heart started racing.
Keys jingled and voices were heard outside of the door.
The door opened and you saw Myungsoo walk through first.
You stood up immediately and walked to Myungsoo.
He came towards you and hugged you.

"I'm so glad you're okay Myungsoo"
"I'm glad I'm okay too"
"Still making jokes just after getting out of the hospital. How Myungsoo-like"
"I guess. Mum, dad. I'm going up to my room. _____ can  take me up, it's okay"

You walked with Myungsoo up the stairs and to his room.
He sat on his bed and sighed.

"What was that for?"
"What?"
"That sigh. It sounded kind of sad. Are you okay Myungsoo?"
"Yeah I'm okay. The accident was pretty eye opening I guess"
"What do you mean?"
"I'll explain soon. Do you mind giving me that box on my desk?"
"Okay"

You grabbed the box and gave it to Myungsoo. He opened it and pulled out a letter.

"I realised that anything can happen at any moment so I should start doing things before I regret not doing them"
"I know what you mean. What's in the letter?"
"Read it"

Myungsoo gave you the letter and you started to read it.

Dear _____.
I'm writing this letter now as a confession of my feelings.
I do not plan on giving to you but if I do at some point, Hello!
Do you remember when we first met?
I was 7 and you were 6. I was new in the neighbourhood and my family came to say hello.
That old swing set of yours was pretty nice.
It's a bit rusty now isn't it?
It was then when we started living our lives together.
We played everyday and we became best friends.
I miss those days.
You never cried because of another boy and I was never in pain from seeing you cry.
I felt friendzoned before I could even say anything to you so I never did.

Remember all of those times when you had thought I was gay because I never had a girlfriend?
