Stardust's Tastes

WRITING:

With stories I tend to look at the story as a whole, rather than being picky about one particular thing. I like stories where the characters are obviously different, and not just a bunch of copies of each other. I also love stories that have good character development (so stories where characters grow and change a little). I don't particularly mind cliché plots as long as the entire story isn't one giant cliché (where everything that happens is so utterly predictable I don't even need to really read the story to know what's going to happen). I prefer AU stories where the idols used aren't famous people.

GRAPHICS:

I like graphics that are aesthetically pleasing and flow well together. Posters that are badly put together and have a bunch of rough edges around characters aren't my thing. I expect at least semi-pro work (which most of the designers on here are at that level already ^^) I'm not particularly a fan of super bright and happy colors, on posters, especially when the theme/mood doesn't call for it. I am also not a big fan of just plain black & white (I'm an artist and to me everything looks better with a little bit of color).

TRAILERS:

I don't want to see anything shorter than 30 seconds. I like smooth transitions between scenes and am not particularly a fan of trailers that switch songs part of the way through (unless it can be done seamlessly). I also LOVE montages.
