Entry #4
Blue-inked Fingers
Ticket to Paradise
The day he came,
I wasn't there.
To scream his name,
Even if he doesn't care.
Dear destiny, why so harsh?
My little fairytale, gone like a flash.
Dear destiny, why so bad?
My dream gone with the wind, making me mad.
Mess with fate's design,
That's what I'll do.
I'll mess with fate's design,
That's what I assure.
I'll turn back time,
Just to have that chance.
To see him from afar,
Even just for a while.
A key to see him,
Wasted with just one call.
A key to hold him,
Gone for I said 'No'.
--------
I wrote this poem days after The Red Bullet in Manila.
The day the ticket store for Bangtan's concert opened, my grandfather bought a ticket immediately.
He's at the ticket store and I'm at home when he called me.
Grandpa: Are you a fan of BTS?
At that time I wasn't much of a fan yet so I answered...
Me: Not that much.. wh---
And he ended the call. When he got home I asked him.
Me: Why'd you ask me if I'm a fan of Bangtan?
Grandpa: I bought you a ticket... But since you said no.. I gave it to the girl standing last at the line...
