Two small children ran over the hillside laughing.  The boy was dressed in black that glowed iridescent scarlet with tongues of orange as he ran.  The girl’s clothing was shimmering blue that reflected the wide blue sky above her. 

JiYong remembered the small Dara’s scream of pain when she felt his fire on her.  “I wish I had not have burned you that day.”   Dara leaned into his touch, wondering if maybe, after all these months, JiYong would finally ask…

“Hey, Wife! Where are you?  You were late for breakfast this morning woman.”  He said heavily.  She did not respond and he gripped her chin in his hand and jerked her face upwards.  Fire raced under his skin and the Ice Princess bit back tears as she felt his heat burn through her skin.

Everywhere she went ice followed her.  She started at every sound and seeing her husband induced dizzying fear.
