A star shoots across the sky, as I'm thinking of my mother.

"Ahhh..."

"What did you wish for?"

"What, Sungyeol? when did you...?"
"I didn't mean to surprise you," he said. "I was going to say something, but the way you were looking up at the sky..You looked so serious."

"...You saw it? The shooting star."

"Yeah."

I keep smiling as i stand up to leave.

"Would you come over tonight?" Sungyeol asked.

"What..?"

"As long as you're alright with it."

"Of course I am.. We are a couple, aren't we?"

"We are."

"Let me just finish up a few things. Then I'll head over."

 "Okay I'll be waiting."

I look up at a high-rise builing soaring above me.

I'm sure he knows everything by now. Which means that everything will end here, be it in sucess or failure..

"YOu were quick," Sungyeol mentioned as we got inside his apartment.

Sungyeol leads me to his living room, where he had started to put out food and drinks.

"Let's make a toast,"Sungyeol stated.

"A toast ..to what?"

"Good point.."

We clink our glasses and take a sip. There's an akward silence.

Without much to say to each other, we down a bottle of wine in no time.

Sungyeol 's already starting on the second.

"What?"

"You're drinking pretty quickly.."

"I feel like I've been told that before. By you..."

"You're always showing concern for me..."

I didn't say anything back.

Sungyeol all of a sudden didn't say anything after that.

Did he fall asleep..?

"Sungyeol..."

I say his name, but there's no response. I stand up softly. I enter te kitchen. A large kitchen knife is setting out, and i take it a shaking hand.

Get a hold of yourself..This is probably my last chance. If i screw up, I'll be found out,, and most likely run out of the hospital. Any chance at revenge os Sungyeol's love would be lost forever. If the only other option is to lose both, then if i can at least have this..

My face is reflected in the blade. It looks disorted ugly.

I guessthis is what the face of a killer looks like...

Sungyeol is still sleeping. I'm holding the knife behind my back as i walk towards him.

resolutely, I raise the knife high in the air, I don't move. It's as though my body is frozen.

Ican't..I can't do it..!

"What's wrong?" Sungyeol wondered.

I was startled. Sungyeol loos directly at me.

"Why don't you do it?" He asked.

I didn't respond back.

"If you just swing your arm down,It'll be over,"He implied.

"..Why? Why don't you run away? You're not gonna do anything? You'll just let me kill you?" 

"If that 's what you want?"
