Kim Jaejoong- the younger child of a Japanese man and a French woman, she has inherited her gorgeous features from her father’s side more than her mother but also has her mother’s vibrant and outgoing personality mixed with a strong sense of justice and fearlessness she shares with her brother. Her mother passed away when she was a few months old and no one tells her how. A year after her father succumbed to his sickness, she came to Japan with her sisters-in-law and cousin. She can pack a mean punch and always carries a collapsible baton; not for self-defence but just that it’s similar to her weapon of choice. She enrols in the most elite private school in Tokyo where people are left guessing about her secretive past in France.

Jung Yunho- A very mysterious student of Tohoshinki High, since he transferred mid-year and though he has been studying there for more than a year, the other students are left guessing about him because he is unapproachable. This has cropped up some very serious rumours about him. The truest fact people know about him is he is the son of the richest man of South Korea. He is seen as cold and distant and even though he is handsome and attractive to girls, no one dares approach him. It also has to do with this rumour that back in his home country, he had beaten some boys within an inch of their lives and also assaulted a girl. Supposedly, his wealthy father managed to keep him out of jail and shipped him off to Tokyo. It wasn’t hard to assume this because he’s proficient in martial arts and also practices fencing and kendo. Yunho doesn’t care about the rumours, he just prefers his privacy.

Shim Changmin- he’s Jaejoong’s cousin. After his parents’ messy separation when he was 5, his uncle brought him to France where he grew up with Jaejoong. They have a deeper bond than Jaejoong has with her real brother and even though she’s older, he trained himself to protect her. He even studied extra hard to be in the same class as her though he’s two years younger. he is the one who insists that Jaejoong carry something for self-defence. He’s the favourite target for Jaejoong’s ‘do opposite of what you're told’ habit and it makes him want to kill her and then himself. He’s one of the few people who knows her past because he was witness to it. he finds it hard to completely trust Yunho but finds him more trustworthy than Yoochun. And yes, he likes food (isn’t that new XP)

Park Yoochun- He’s basically what you call top of the food chain at Tohoshinki High. He’s set to take over his family’s hotel chain and apart from riches, he’s also very good-looking. He’s student council president, captain of basketball team, head of the music club and the school heartthrob. He holds animosity towards Yunho, because since his arrival Yoochun lost his first rank and the captaincy of the judo team. He is always second to Yunho and considers him a social outcast.
