Uggh.

The alarm clock. It’s 4 am.

My work actually starts at 8, but because I am HER MAID, I have to wake up early.

(flashback)

“Ok let’s get inside.”

“Haha! Chaerin! Wait for me!”

Entering, she proceeded to the dining table.

“This is just for courtesy Dara. Now eat.”

Just a moment ago, you were too sweet to me, now it seems like the devil’s back

“Hul.”

“And be sure you’ll wash the dishes.”

“YES BOSS!”

She laughed.

“I uh. I’m tired. I’ll see you tomorrow. And be sure breakfast’s ready when I wake up. We’ll leave at 6:30.”

“K.” I kept on eating.

“Ok.”

It’s too early eh?

10 more minutes.

Just 10 minutes.

I closed my eyes and…

Aaaahhh.

I can’t fall asleep again. I’ll just cook breakfast.

I opened the fridge and found eggs, ham, hotdogs, pork, chicken.

Scrambled eggs and toast for the morning!

I was cooking when I felt someone’s hands circle around my waist.

“Chaerin…”

“I’m hungry.”

“Why don’t you just sit there and wait because this will be ready in a minute.”

“Ok, can I have chocolate drink too?”

“Sure, your highness.”

She laughed. The laughter I’ve been missing. I can hear them finally again.

I placed the toast on her plate. “Now eat. We don’t want to be late, do we?”

“Why don’t you join me for breakfast honey?”

H-hh-hoonneey?

“What?”

“Let’s eat together.”

I sat down and ate too.

“You really cook this perfectly hon. Have I told you I’m so lucky you’re my wife?” Her eyes made my heart flutter.

She leaned closer to me.

“DARA!!!! WAKE UP!”

I jumped out of the bed and looked at the clock. It’s 6:00 am!
