(CHAERIN’s POV)

That bastard! Dara left me for him and he’s going back?

And I can’t believe that Dara is still into him! So who is that man this morning huh!? One more Dara! One more and I will sue you!

Aaarrrgh.

I changed my clothes. I took a cigarette and proceeded to the garden.

‘Do you know how hard it has been for me Dara?’ my thoughts are flying again.

I was lighting my cigarette when somebody called me.

“Chaerin.”

I looked around.

She’s there.

Standing.

“What are you doing? Since when did you learn how to smoke?”

She walked towards me and took the cigarette and lighter from me.

“Hey, give that back!” I was reaching for it and she keeps on moving to keep both away from me.

“No Chaerin! Stay there!”

I sighed. “What brought you here? It’s past 10. Work’s early tomorrow.”

“Why are you here?” she raised her eyebrow.

“I asked you first.” I looked at her. “And as your boss, I command you to get inside and sleep!”

“As your wife I command you to stop being stubborn, get inside and finish your meal.” She said.

Those words kept on echoing in my head.

I stood there, I ran out of words.

Hearing that from her, I felt like she’s really here. My wife is here.

“Chaerin are you listening!? You’re spacing out again! What’s wrong with you!”

“N-nn-nothing. Just get inside.” Dara, why do I always stutter talking to you?

“I’ll get inside if you’ll do the same thing.” She crossed her arms.

“Chaerin…”

I put my hands inside my pockets. “What?” I turned around.

“Chae, can we talk?”

DARA’s POV

“Chae, can we talk?” I asked her.

She didn’t say a word.

“Chaerin…”

I walked towards her and grabbed her right wrist.

She’s still not saying anything. She just kept on walking to where I’m taking her.

“Let’s talk.” I took her to the garden’s bench.

“What do you want to talk about?” She asked me, still not looking at me.

“About this morning.”

“What about this morning?”

“First, I want to explain because I am still your wife. And secondly, you may or may not listen to me. But if I ask you, I want you to answer me honestly.”

“Honestly? What do you know about honesty Dara?”

“You can doubt me Chaerin.”

“As you say so.”

“The man this morning is my officemate Wooyoung. But he is only a friend. Nothing more.”

“Ok.” Her face revealed no expressions at all. “Anything else?”

“Look at me Chaerin.”

“Why would I do that.”

“Just look at me!”

“Ok, ok!” She looked at me. She put on her hood. “Now what?”
