16 Steps
Description
The human brain think
of an average of
2500-3300 thoughts per hour.
Estimatedly 41-55 thoughts per minute.
All it took was 16 steps;
29.92 dragging seconds
for him
to make a decision.
And choose
whether to break a broken heart
or
patch it all up together.
Foreword
I am not going to go against the weight of the future
for it is much heavier than the present.
And I am certainly not going to go against the theory of relativity.
What lies ahead of time itself,
is something no man can explain but I’ll risk my present,
my past and I’ll risk everything for both of us.
The story starts with an argument of two best friends in the girl’s apartment. The plot however may confuse you as it is in the male lead’s point of view. It is in general, what he is thinking while walking away from the girl’s apartment. He’s basically in a state where he THINKS the world is in a slow motion perception. So this story tells you bit by bit of what he is thinking in exactly 29.92 seconds. What he is thinking however, is in a flashback of what happened between the two protagonists. And it will change at the end as you read through it.
