Light Dust

Description

Kyungsoo had always envied his best friend; he wanted to be just like him, to have the strength to live that Kim Jongin had. After all, Kyungsoo had been in love with his best friend since the moment he met him.

Kim Jongin was burning light, shinning, revealing, illuminating...

“What are you still doing here, hyung?” Jongin's voice interrupted Kyungsoo's thoughts. He asked with such a pained look that Kyungsoo, who was sitting on the park’s bench staring at the sky that was now with light, had to flinch a little before answering.

“Of course I’m waiting for you, silly,” Kyungsoo answered with a beautiful heart-shaped smile as he motioned for Jongin to sit besides him, and Jongin sighed but obeyed nonetheless.

“Kyungsoo,” Jongin said sternly after watching the elder for a minute, “go back, now.”

Kyungsoo flinched again at the distant tone that Jongin used, “I can’t let you go just yet.”

Kyungsoo stared ahead at the breaking dawn, his heart wounded by the piercing stare Jongin was giving him.

Because being in love with your friend . Because loving someone who knows you love him .

Because Jongin was burning light 150 million kilometers too far.
