As soon as I open my eyes the next morning, I'm hit by darkness again.

"What's going on? Where am I?" My nose scrunches in confusion.

When I look around, all I see is a long rectangular table with an extravagant amount of food, like a feast fit only for a gluttonous king. The smell reaches my nose and I feel my stomach grumble.

"I'm hungry.." I my lips.

"Hello.. I'm Daehyun."

I turn my head and see an extremely nicely dressed male, he couldn't have been a day over 20. I could easily recognize that I would probably not be able to afford even a button on his dress shirt, he was dressed in name-brands from head to toe head to toe. I look down at the drab clothes that I'm wearing; an olive colored jacket layered on top of a light gray shirt, with dark blue jeans and black boots. Compared to his crisp black suit and nicely done hair, I know that I look exactly what I am: a poor, homeless, young, pathetic little cat shifter - although I'm not that young, I've just turned 18 last month.. I think, no, I'm sure that's correct.

"Why.. Why am I here?" It takes me two tries on the first word because my voice is hoarse the first time I try talking.

"Eat first," he motions his hand toward the table and my eyes are averted to the food once again. Only when the first bite of food's flavors explode on my tastebuds is when I remember that I haven't eaten in a week. I can feel it in my stomach that the food is at first unwelcome because of this.
