(A/N: Hi all! This is my first time writing a fanfic so please bear with me and this story. I'm fairly new with the KPop world that's why I've only been reading fanfics until now. Also, I haven't been to Korea so I hope you forgive me if ever you may find inconsistencies in this story relating to idols' lives and S.Korea. Thank you! “Arrghh!”

I woke up from a dreamless sleep when I felt a pillow hitting me hard on the face. I open my eyes only to see my best friend smirking at me.

“Finally! Get up! We didn’t travel all the way from L.A to Korea just to sleep!” Min, my best friend said.

“Also, I didn’t travel here on my own will! You forced me to go with you so can’t you at least have the decency to let me have some sleep, which I deserve since it is our vacation?” I replied while covering my face with the pillow she threw.

“No. You agreed to come with me so get up. We’re meeting my cousin and her boyfriend for breakfast.” Min said while holding my wrist and pulling me out of bed.

“Arggh! Fine! I know you’re just too excited to see your beloved Super Junior oppas.” I said with irritation.

“Of course not! I’m excited to see my cousin! My beloved Super Junior oppas are only secondary!” She said while laughing and finally letting go of my wrist. “I’m gonna be at the lobby. Go shower and fix yourself. I don’t want my best friend looking like a beggar in case we’re meeting my oppas!” 

I looked at her with piercing eyes but she just laughed it off and left the room. Now that I am alone, let me introduce myself, I am Amber Joseph Liu, 18 years old this September, and living in L.A, California. Me and my best friend Min just graduated from high school and in 2 months, we’re going to our dream university, Stanford! But before that, Min decided to spend our remaining days of freedom here in Korea where she was invited by her cousin who has a rich boyfriend. And I’m not talking about just rich, I mean, really rich. Said boyfriend turned out to be the nephew of the owner of S.M Corp., an entertainment company managing various Korean idols. And since my best friend is a hard core fan of Super Junior, one of the idol groups managed by S.M., she immediately booked tickets for her and for me. Yep, without even consulting about my plans for my vacation. All I know is that she told my parents that we’re going to Korea and my parents, being the busy business people that they are, agreed since they said that they couldn’t accompany me for vacation. One thing noteworthy is that my parents and Min’s parents are business partners. So yeah, her parents are busy as well so the result is…I’m spending my whole summer vacation in Korea with my best friend. End of intro. I really need to take a shower now before my noisy best friend decides to come barging in for spending too much time in the bathroom like a girl. Sigh. I just hope that this vacation will be worth my time.
