happy birthday
10/10sunggyu pushed the door open. the familiar creaking sound he had been hearing for years welcomed him as he stepped inside the apartment. it wasn’t as big as his, but sunggyu kind of liked this place a little bit better than his own.
“hey kitty, where’s your dad?” sunggyu crouched down, patting the cat’s head. he walked towards the sound of music, a ballad song. sunggyu opened the room and saw the figure lying down on the bed, ipad on his hands.
the figure glanced to where sunggyu was standing, before he formed a smile and put down the device. “oh, you’re here?” he asked, and sunggyu came in with chicken, cake and beers in his hands. “you brought so much like always.” a soft laugh escaped his lips.
sunggyu chuckled and put down the meals on the floor, signaling the man to sit beside him. “well, it is your special day,” the man moved from his position to sit next to sunggyu. he could smell the crunchiness of the chicken and the sweetness of the cake. “sorry about earlier, woohyunnie. i didn’t know you were still doing the live.”
woohyun hummed, starting to open the lid that was used to cover the chickens. “it’s okay,” he said. “i didn’t tell you what time i was going to start it, did i?”
it was the time of the year, where woohyun would age one year older, and it had been their tradition to spend the night together whether it was only to eat or to enjoy drinks in one’s apartment. this year though, woohyun decided that he wanted to spend a few hours for the fans. the younger told sunggyu about his plan and the leader agreed. so sunggyu had to wait a bit until he was done with the v live, but he accidentally phoned woohyun in the middle of it.
within a few minutes, they were alreading savoring the chicken. woohyun gave his “babies” some when they meowed and approached him. sunggyu would nag to woohyun that his hands would be dirty if he fed the cats directly from his palms but woohyun just shrugged him off. (eve
