Daehyun’s POV:

It has been a week since Jae Bum moved. Hyerim doesn’t seem that sad anymore, I wonder if she had moved on. Since she had moved on, maybe I have a chance? I don’t know though, but maybe I can try talking to her! I walked up to her and sat down nervously, she looked at me weirdly but smiled. 

“Hi,” I said while smiling

“Hi!” she said enthusiastically 

“Nice to meet you. I don’t think we have talked before, my name is Daehyun, Jung Daehyun, you?” I said nicely

“Hyerim, Lee Hyerim,” she said

“Nice to meet you again. So how are you liking this class?” I said

“Hmmm…it’s okay. It’s not the most fun class especially that I don’t really have any friends in this class,” she said sadly

“Oh really?? Me too!!! Maybe we can be friends and we can sit together in this class!! We’ll be buddies in this class or something??” I said with a little worriedly since she might reject me

“Oh really?? Yayy!! Of course we can!! Thank you for asking because I would be very lonely in this class……” she said

“Haha, no worries, as long as you don’t mind being my friend, it’s all good!” I said happily 

“Hehehe, yup, it’s all good! We can be good buddies!” she said happily

Ding~Ding~Ding~

“Well since class is over, should we go to the cafeteria together?” I said

“Yes of course, I’m meeting JiEun there. By the way, were you the guy that was talking to JiEun last week?” she said

“Umm yeah, you noticed?” I said

“Yeah! I was wondering who she was talking to since she doesn’t usually like talking to boys that much! You must be someone special huh??” she said

“Huh? Nooo!! We’re just friends!! That’s all! Nothing more than that,” I said in a panicking voice

“Hahahaha, OMG your face was really funny even though I can’t really see it! But it definitely was really funny!! Ara ara, I’m just kidding, don’t take it too seriously,” she said while laughing

“Hmphhh, it was not funny. Don’t joke like that with me!” I said

“Okay okay, I’m sorryy,” she said 

    We finally got to the cafeteria and Hyerim said goodbye to me and went to sit with JiEun. After she left, words could not express how HAPPYYY I was. I couldn’t believe that I asked her to be my buddy in class, I wonder how it’ll go from now on. She really opened up to me, I am really glad that she did. I do not want her to feel awkward around me or anything! Thank goodness she opened up to me or else, it will be really sad if she didn’t. I do not even know what will happen if she did not open up to me! I could be crying in the corner and never face her ever again. 

    I saw Youngjae walking into the cafeteria and told him everything that had happened. I even told him how cute Hyerim was again, because she was really adorable when I started talking to her. Despite the fact that we just started talking, she opened up to me. I was kinda surprised cause JiEun told me that Hyerim could be REALLY awkward at times. I continued babbling to Youngjae when he just looked at me like “dude -.- enough talking, lets eat face”. He told me how I was soo into Hyerim that I forgot to eat!! He couldn’t believe I forgot to eat cause I loved eating, eating always came first!!

Hyerim’s POV:

    Today, I met a new friend!! Although I have never met him before, he came up to me and greet himself. I thought it was very nice and adorable of him doing that. I noticed that he looked really nervous, so I tried my best to make him feel comfortable. I do not know why, but when he sat down, everything felt right. It’s like he was my long lost friend and he finally found his way back to me. I smiled at him and he smiled back, despite the fact that half of his face was covered, I still saw that smile through his eyes; it was adorable, I had to admit it. When he said hi to me, I hurriedly and enthusiastically said hi back to him. I do not know why but it was seriously making me question myself. I do not think that has happened to me before, not even with Jae Bum, who is this guy? He introduced himself as Daehyun and I introduced myself. I thought it was a little awkward at first since I am a little awkward, he tried his best to make it comfortable, which I liked a lot. Not a lot of people tried to carry out a conversation with me that much since I get a little “awkward”. Hey, it’s not my fault!! I have to be really opened to someone in order for me to talk with them, talking with people is really hard at times! But Daehyun did not have that problem at all and then he asked if we could be friends and be buddies in this class. Of course I had said yes because I was starting to get lonely and I would really like it if I have a friend. After he asked me that, class was over. He asked if we could walk to the cafeteria together, since the walk was a little long, why not? While walking there, it didn’t seem to be awkward. I sort of made fun of him because I remembered that I saw JiEun and Daehyun talking together last week. I sort of made a joke and Daehyun got nervous and hurriedly said no, it was seriously cute. I really wish he would take off the mask, I would like to see how he looks like. I really wanted to ask him why he is wearing the mask but I didn’t want him to think I’m really nosy and stuff. After all, we just became friends 15 minutes ago! It does not make sense for me butting into his business anymore. Heck, even if we were friends, it doesn’t make sense. I don’t want him to think I’m weird or something!! 

    I sat down where JiEun was sitting and I told her EVERYTHING that had happened, including the part where I said the two of them had a thing. JiEun choked and started cracking up, I was curious with why she reacted that way. Daehyun was a nice guy!! Why was she reacting like that? 

“Me?? Hahahaha. With Daehyun?” she said laughing loudly

“Yeah….what’s wrong??” I said

“HAHAHA OMG, never in my right mind have I thought of that!!” she said

“What why? Daehyun is nice!!” I said

“Haha, we’re just friends, like what he said,” she said

“Hmmm…..well, you guys can always move forward and be more than friends!!” I said enthusiastically

“Ummm…Miss Hyerim, I do not think that will ever happen. We’re just friends, let’s end it that way,” she said

    After that conversation, lunch was over. I guess the two of them were just friends! I don’t know why I asked that, but maybe I was really curious. Hehehe, or nosy?? Right, I was really nosy, which I really shouldn’t be!!

JiEun’s POV:

    OMG, what Hyerim told me during lunch today was really funny!!! Well, not just funny but yeah. I am really glad that Daehyun found his courage to talk to Hyerim! I’m happy for the both of them!! But here’s the funny thing, why would Daehyun and I like each other when he’s clearly heads of heel for someone. I died, it was so funny!! I could not believe how oblivious she was, she was really dumbfounded when I said that too. I did not want to tell her anything that might make it seem like Daehyun likes her. I want him to tell Hyerim herself, so it was really hard to control what I had to say. Thank goodness that I stopped her from saying anything anymore. I really do not want her to think that Daehyun and I had something going on! I saw Daehyun when I walked into class

“Hey,” I said

“Hi,” he said

“So…..I heard from Hyerim that you had talked to her and you’re now her buddy! Congratulations, you did it!” I said

“Haha, I guess?? I was really nervous and stuff but she seemed really nice and smiled at me, which made me less nervous,” he said while smiling

“Hmmm….this is really good then!! Yayy!! One more step closer to her now,” I said enthusiastically

“I guess. Oh by the way, you told me how Hyerim was really awkward and stuff when you talk to her right?” he said

“..yes? Why?” I said

“Well, she had no problem talking to me. She was really opened about ti and we started talking and stuff. It was really nice,” he said happily

“Wow, really? This is really weird, she is usually awkward, but thats good then right?!” I said

Ding~Ding~Ding~

    The bell rang and I went to my desk and sat down. While sitting down, I was processing in what Daehyun had said about Hyerim. Hyerim was not awkward? Wow, I wonder what this is all about. She usually stops talking to  person after saying hi’s or hello’s cause they usually have nothing to talk about. Now, I really want to know what is wrong with Hyerim!!

    School soon ended, Hyerim and JiEun walked home together. The two of them started talking about school and the rest of their day after lunch was over. While they were walking, JiEun asked Hyerim why she had opened up to Daehyun that easily. Hyerim replied back saying how she does’t know either. It seemed as if they have been friends forever and it was a really nice feeling. Nothing awkward beside the beginning and she was very confused too. JiEun just said an okay and then the two of them walked to a ice cream shop together. After all, who can resist ice cream? When the two of them walked in, Hyerim changed into the shy type. 'Oh my' was the very first thing JiEun thought. Here is comes again………

    What was JiEun thinking about? Why does she not sound happy at all? This must have something to do with Hyerim since she looked at Hyerim and then something went down….so what is it??

'SUP EVERYONEEE!!!! I'M SUPERRR DUPERRR SORRYYYY!!! I know I haven't been active and I'm really sorry!!! I've been really busy with school and I'm still going to until the end of January. Finals and coming up and I'd really need to do well to maintain my grade!!! But since all of you are super important to me, I decided to update!! I'm sorry if it isn't really long, I'll try to make it longer next chapter! Which is probably not until next month >.<  So now, I hope all of you will enjoy this chapter! I tried to make Daehyun and Hyerim talk and know more about each other. I'm trying to add the two of them together and this is my first time, so hopefully I hope you will enjoy it!!!
