I tried to open eyes, slowly, I saw the lights shining the whole room, blinding my eyes. It seems like I haven’t seen the light for a very long time. I tried to move my fingers but it was hopeless, I was too tired. My body was aching, guess I’ve slept on the bed for a very long time, too. I titled my head to the right and saw a figure, it was her. She saw me moving, she was panicked and ran out of the room. I heard her calling the doctor but still, I felt slightly dizzy. I blinked a couple of times before passing out, again.

“You awake, guy?” That person was trying to check my pulse and everything – the usual things a doctor does to his patient, yes I am awake. I wanted to speak out but I was still tired and numb for a long deep sleep.  “He’s stable as of now, please don’t stress him out. I’ll leave him to you.” The doctor said to the girl and finally left the room with the both of us. I looked at the girl; she was wearing a white simple shift dress, she looked gorgeous. I guess she’d look gorgeous in everything. Her hair was tied up to ponytail and I noticed she applied a little bit of lipstick and mascara; nevertheless she still looked gorgeous as always. She never changed from the first time I saw her – Park Jiyeon.

I was playing a guitar at the park until I noticed someone staring at me real close and that person never blinked. I looked up and it was her – Jiyeon, Park Jiyeon – the person that I didn’t have any idea I’d love her and might be my life-partner. She was amused by my charms – I never knew I had one. “Your guitar looks cool. By any chance do you know how to play acoustic guitar?” She started to speak up. Her voice was calm, quite husky for a girl, but who knew that voice was my favorite music.

“Yes, I do have one back at home.”

“Cool.” She smiled. For one second I thought I’ve seen the spark in my life.

“By any chance, do you really like guitars? Both acoustic and electric?”

“Not especially. But you do look really cool while playing.”

I said nothing but smiled.
