Chapter 3

Love my Best friend

After running around in the city without knowing where the right way was Yuri finally made her way to the school. She wasn't that late because after all she got up early and looked the way up in google maps. And now she was standing here, in front of her new school. The school she already hated before just visiting it once. But she was so sure tat she couldn't be happy here, after all what happened. Especially when Tiffany was here really popular. There was still hope left since mothers always overestimate their children, and when Tiffany acted to everybody like to her she couldn't be that popular. Because after all she didn't wanted to be completely alone. When she went through the doors she could smell the usual smell of schools. Paper, sweat and parfum. After looking around a little bit she decided that the school wasn't really special. She was just old, but in Yuris opinion all schools seemend some kind of old. She saw some other kids running through the doors, because they all were about 10 minutes to late. A bunch of guys were slowly walking to the stairs, pushing the others aside. They were the only ones not running, and Yuri shook her head. Obviously they were the cool kids at this school. In every school were those bad boys who wrote bad notes and came late to school and had despite all that a bunch of girls loving them. Of course they just played with them. She turned around. She didn't had a faible for those kind of boys. THanks to Tao. She smiled secretly. Tao had a bunch of girls who adored him and he used to hang out with those bad boys too. After all he was freaking handsome and cute and skilled. He was talled, had really nice black hair and those mysterious eyes. Even Yuri had to admit it, but she never thaught of him that way before. They were best friends and best friends didn't think of each other that way. The boys passed and one of them stared at her. He looked good, brown hair, brown eyes, tall, and really handsome. He stared at her, and for a short moment she felt like she knew this guy since forver. Then another guy noticed her and winked to her in this way who said: You're cute, and i'm hot. And you know that. She rolled her eyes and turned away. For a short moment she thaught hearing a laughter, but it ended before Yuri could make it sure. Finally she found the main office. She breathed one more time deaply and opened the door. There were a few students sitting on the chairs and two girls started whispering to each other as soon as she stepped in. Yuri ignored them. She was never the type of girl who had more girl than guyfriends. She didn't know why, but she just got along better with guys. Of course there were some girls like Yoona she actually liked, but she was more the type to get along with guys. One reason was this. She hated bad-mouthing or talking behind ones back. It just was mean and definitely not right, and it annoyed her. 'How can i hepl you?' A old, grey haired woman smiled at Yuri. Was it normal that every school had a old woman as secretary? Her old school had the exact same woman, just... another one. 'I'm the new student here and today is my first day at the school here. My name is Kwon Yuri.' She heared a little yelp from one of the girls from behind an kept ignoring them. Little s. 'Oh really, this is your first day here? When I was young I moved too, and it was so horrible at first, but then it got better, especially when I met Jason, you know, he's my husband now, and...', the woman started talking. Yes, the exact same copy do we have at our school, was the only thing Yuri could think of while she kept nodding. 'Ahh, here we have you! Kwon Yuri, 15 years old, right? Here is your class schedule, and the first thing you have is Math wit Mr. Shin in A9. Do you know were that is?' Yuri shook her head. 'Krystal, you have maths now too, right? How about you guide Yuri to the room?' One of the es stood up. 'Of course, Ms. Smith. Jessica, you know what to do right?' She gave Yuri a telling look, and turned around. 'I'll show you the way to the room.' Her smile was such a fake, Yuri wanted to throw up. So here we had another Tiffany. The school here was going to be great, Yuri thaught ironically.

Krystal was tipping on her iPhone with her long, green fake nails and the sound was a loud clicking that made Yuri feeling uncomfortable. She actually hated those long fake nails and had never understand why somebody would do that. 'So you are new?' What a stupid question, but Yuri nodded. 'So.. Why did you move here?' Krystal stared at her like a lion a deer. 'Ahm... My dad moved here because of... work.' That sounded good. Now he would just seem like a normal student who moved. 'Are you possible living with Tiffany?' Yuri stopped breathing for a second. From where could she know? Yuri didn't mention something about that, neither her nor in the main office. So she just stayed silent. What could she even say? Maybe Krystal meant another Tiffany, not the one she knew. Tiffany wasn't that common, but who knew? Maybe there were more Tiffanys in this town. 'So?', Krystal asked impatient. Yuri just shrugged her shoulders. 'Come on, you have to know with whom you're living! Only you're father? Or is there more?' Krystal was was really impolite. And mean! She obviously saw that Yuri was uncomfortable with those questions, and plus it was not really nice asking those personal questions after they just met! Yuri felt the anger coming up again, but pushed it back. This couldn't end like the Tiffany thing. 'Yes, I live with a Tiffany is there only one in this school?' Hope built in Yuri and escaped when Krystal said: 'Yes, there's only one Tiffany in this school. She's in the organization committee, and the school council Vice President. She didn't had enough time to be the president, but she could have done it if she wanted to do it.' Even worse! Luckily they just reached the a room and Krystal opened the door. The maths teacher turned around. 'This is your new student Yuri.' She stressed her name more than a usual person would and Yuri felt uneasy, especially when nearly all the girls started talking immediately. Mr. Shin stopped the talking when he said: 'Welcome Yuri. I'm your maths teacher and I'm sure you'll find a lot of friends soon. Maybe you introduce yourself?' He dragged her in front of the class and Yuri started slowly talking. My name is Kwon Yuri, and I'm 15 years old. I like dancing, singing, playing the guitar and... 'She stopped. Her whole body stopped. Tiffany was sitting in the back. She was sitting there, filing her nails and not paying attention. Suddenly she looked up and smiled at her, not a real smile of course. Mr. Shin looked at her quizzical. 'Keep going Yuri.' She nodded and opened to keep going, but Tiffany interrupted her by standing up. 'I'm pretty sure nobody else wants to listen to her lame talking. And by the way, I'm pretty sure everybody here already knows the really important things about her. She looked at the students telling. Nearly all the girls snickered and some boys nodded. All in all everybody was staring at her really mean. Yuri wanted to run out of the class, but she couldn't. Luckily Mr. Shin ended the awful situation. 'Whatever. There are not really anymore seats but you can sit next to Eunhyuk. He pointed at a seat in the third row and a blonde guy. Slowly Yuri started moving there, thinking where she had seen that guy already. 'Hey sweetie. I'm Eunhyuk and I love to dance- the most with a partner.' Suddenly she remembered from where she had known him! He was the 'bad boy' who winked at her! 'You don't remember me?', she asked with suprise in her voice. 'No honey, a beauty like you I would remember!' Eunhyuk smiled suggestive. Yuri shook her head in disbelieve. 'So, you remember this morning? When you was with a bunch of other guys walking through the building? And you winked to that one girl who rejected you? That's me!' Eunhyuks face went pale and he turned away from her. She saw the red flashes on his cheeks and a felling of joy over floated her. At least one good thing that has happened today. Yuri smiled. That was exactly what she needed.

The rest of the day nothing special happened. And in the next week too. Even though Yuri wasn't that keen on making friends, she noticed that nearly everybody ignored her or started whispering when she passed. Some looked at her like she was crazy. Yuri didn't know why. It was kinda disappointing because she thought she could make at least one two friends, but for some reason nobody talked to her.
The weekend were just two more gloomy days, she laid in her bed and watched Korean dramas. If it just would be as in 'She's so lovable'. Even though she had no real friends, there was this one guy who loved and helped her.
But things like this just happened in Korean dramas. Right?
