Chapter Two
You Captivate MeMinsu woke up early, yawning as he stretched his limbs. The young man smiled as he felt his roommate shift beside him. Suwoong had been upset the night before, so Minsu had been kind enough to let him stay with him. He had spent the entire previous evening trying to convince his friend that he hadn't been at fault, and that the system at his work could be fixed. Suwoong had been difficult to convince, and it had taken a long time to bring him back to his normal, bubbly self. his friend's hair gently, Minsu sighed. The problems at Suwoong's work didn't bother him as much as his the younger man's well-being. He wasn't used to the work force and it seemed to be taking a toll on him already.
Glancing at the alarm clock, Minsu frowned. He knew it was about to go off in a few minutes, so he reached over and shook Suwoong gently. The younger man let out a squeak of protest, turning over and covering his head with a pillow. Minsu grinned at the adorable sound, shaking him again. "Hey, it's time to get up. You'll be late to work. I will, too. Come on..." When he moved to shake Suwoong again, the younger man slapped his hand.
"I don't want to show my face there again. I quit, Minsu," Suwoong whined, sighing heavily. "My supervisor says it'll be okay, but I just know it won't. I screwed up. I can't face him again, hyung. I just can't."
Minsu swallowed hard, rubbing his friend's back. He knew that Suwoong was bring very dramatic and over-reacting. However, he was still going to be the supportive friend. "It'll be okay. Like I said last night, if he fired you, I'll kill him. But hey, I've been in deep trouble at work before, and have survived worse problems than this one. You'll be fine. Trust me."
Suwoong uncovered his head, his lower lip sticking out in a pout. "Okay. I guess I'm just worrying too much. If you really think it'll be okay, then I trust you. Thank you, Minsu."
The other man smiled at him gently. "You're welcome. Now, get dressed and I'll go with you. We can share a car today, and I'll pick you up later, okay?"
Suwoong stared at him, his dark eyes weary. "Okay. That sounds good." He stood up, stretching. "I need to find something to wear."
Minsu smiled quietly, walking out to the car to start warming it up. Suwoong would be alright. He just needed to calm down a bit.
