Luhan wakes in darkness, his hands trembling, body aching, cramped into a space too small for him. He smells sulfur and smoke and swallows, his closed eyes doing nothing against the dark.

When he inches them open, he screams. Or at least he attempts to. His voice is caught in his throat, and he chokes, his hands pressing adainst his dry throat.

There is someone floating above him, rather peacefully, a wide smile on his face as he watches Luhan panic, a glint of amusement in his eyes.

"Hello E12. I am E1, and your guide out of this damp, dusty box. If we could be on our way," the stranger, no E1, says and extends a hand out. Cautiously, Luhan stretches to touch him, and is yanked against a warm body, going up and up and up into dizzying heights. Too late, Luhan rememebers his fear of heights, and once again is reduced to a screaming mess.

E1 drops him to the ground, a sheepish smile on his face, "sorry. Forgot about the whole..." he waves his hands above him, and Luhan glares, sniffing slightly, as he thanks the ground for being so sturdy.

"You're an idiot, E1."

"Oh shut up, E3."

Luhan shuts the voices talking above his head, and closes his eyes, to sink into the safe sanity of the dark.
