Being an SM trainee guarantees nothing. Being the best at what you do is not enough for perfection is the only option, perfection that consumes, perfection that fuels, and this is what Kim Jongin holds on to. Jongin holds on to the abstract view of perfection and he wants nothing but to achieve it. The desire to be perfect fuels him to practice until his body quivers and gave up on him, he practices and practices until he could feel the potential of having his lungs burst due to over exertion, he practices until he could forget all the hateful glares the other trainees would send his way when they thought he wasn't looking, he practices until he forgets, he practices until he is stuck between the dilemma of giving up and giving in.

Do Kyungsoo has the voice of angel. He has the voice that resembles that of a being that can only be found on either a person's dreams or the heavens above. His milky white skin can be compared to that of a snow every winter, completely alluring yet at the same time holds a threat of danger. His eyes resembles that of an owl, they may be big but they have that impeccable light in them that draws almost everyone at their knees, having the power to have them worshipping the ground that he walks on. His moles that are scattered all around his body contrasts with his white skin, making it all too visible every time it shows. And just as how every trainee is obsessed with the thought of perfection, he too, strives for it. He practices until his throat becomes sore, he practices and practices until he hits those notes that everyone seems to give up on.

Jongin and Kyungsoo does not want to give up on their dreams so they both drown themselves in the pool of never ending practices and vivid futures. Both dreaming of the dreams they are working so hard for, both becoming lost yet still on track. Both wanting to find and come up with what they want to achieve.

Jongin and Kyungsoo are polar opposites. They may have been striving for the same thing but a person may get a shock when they find out just how loud the word "different" could be heard. From Jongin's tanned skin to Kyungsoo's snow like ones, from Jongin's smooth body rolls to Kyungsoo's versatile voice, from Jongin's broad shoulders to Kyungsoo's narrow ones, from Jongin's lean frame to Kyungsoo's petite ones, they are like two people separated by a huge glass wall, they can see each other but reaching out, allowing contact seems to be near impossible.

They contradict each other like a promise yet their hearts which have grown accustomed to the other's presence slowly learns how to compromise and allow a simultaneous rhythm to be created. Just as how Jongin's body dances to the beat of Kyungsoo's melody, they gradually created a performance that is beyond beautiful, they created a story.

In the midst of their journey of finding and attaining their dreams and perfection, they stumbled upon each other and built their own story. Along their way through achievement they found something far greater than their own dreams, they found love, they found each other.

And this is how their story goes: from fear to friendship then from friendship to potential fluttering of hearts then to tears then to pain and finally down to the slippery slope of this enthralling feeling called love.
