Never Want To Lose You
Always Have, Always WillA wave of cold fear washes over Luhan. Something is wrong.
“Are they back?” Luhan asks frantically as he staggers out of his hut.
“Afraid not,” answers Xiumin, expression grim as he makes his way to the others. Luhan closes his eyes and clutches his shirt when he feels a sharp, stabbing pain in his chest. Something is definitely wrong.
It's been an hour, and the alphas aren't back from their weekly hunt. Luhan's mate, Sehun, is among them, and he feels sick to his stomach as horrific images flash before his eyes. Something must have happened, and whatever it is, it most definitely isn't good.
The alphas who stayed behind, in order to watch over the pack, have gathered to discuss courses of action while their respective omegas quietly looked on. Worried and unable to do anything but wait, all of the omegas whose mates are missing have gathered around the main campfire. Few words are exchanged, each of them too occupied with their own fears and worst assumptions.
As the minutes tick by, Luhan finds it harder to breathe. He's never been away from Sehun for this long. Every fiber of his being is screaming for Sehun. He needs his mate.

His thoughts are interrupted when Baekhyun loudly gasps at something moving from behind the trees, causing everyone to look towards that direction. Slowly, painstakingly so, the alphas appear, and it's an absolutely horrid sight. The smell of blood is thick in the air, and Luhan's heart plummets. All of the alphas are injured in some way or another; a few are even limping while being supported by two others on each side. The omegas quickly rush over because attending to their hurt alphas is their number one priority at the moment. All questions can wait till later.
