“[y/n] wait!” Daehyun called desperately.

“What?” You asked angrily.

“Just listen to me! I haven’t been avoiding the wedding, I just have been really busy with work.” He said grabbing your shoulders and pleading you to stay. You knew that Daehyun was always working and that he didn’t have time to spare. It wasn’t his fault, but you couldn’t help but feel abandoned and lonely. You had been planning your entire wedding all on your own and felt pressured. You yanked out of his grip and walked off before he could squeeze in another word. Daehyun had continuous schedules thoughout the day so he couldn't go after you.

You entered the living room of your empty apartment that you shared with your now ex-fiancé. It didn’t even feel like he lived there anyway, he was always too busy. You plopped down to the coffee table filled with wedding invitations and small crafts. Fiddling with one of them, you wondered to yourself 'Why did I even get myself into this mess, he is an idol. I was just setting myself up for heartache.' You sighed and placed the craft back on the table in defeat.

You wanted to get your mind of off Daehyun so you the television.

“I guess he can’t be avoided.” You stated as you saw him on the screen. He was talking with some fans and hugging them. You quickly turned the TV off and threw the remote across the room.  You couldn’t understand why you were so angry and jealous by that simple gesture. Maybe it was the thought of actually losing him.

You had given up on planning the wedding, and you told yourself that he didn’t care anymore. You went to your room and decided to sleep off the pain. As hard as you tried to ignore him, Daehyun popped back in your head every second. Tomorrow he was supposed to go to Japan for promotions.
