A white Lamborghini cruises along Seoul City and city lights reflect through its tinted windows, hiding the agony of the man riding at the backseat. He sits quietly, almost slouching, the back of his index finger against his lips as he thinks of his coming ordeal.

An ordeal that has to be done although he was very much reluctant.

“We’re here.”, his driver/manager’s voice made him turn towards the front. On normal days, he wouldn’t let anyone drive his most precious car but today was an exception. He wouldn’t be able to stop himself from driving into a wall, literally, because figuratively, that is just about to happen to him.

“Try to look a bit happy when you get down. You’re supposed to meet the love of your life!”, Soonhoc warned.

“Ji, the sooner we start, the faster it’ll be over.”, his friend, Xin, tries to encourage.

“Are they here?”, Kwon Jiyong asks in a monotone. His distaste and unease evident.

“Everyone’s here.”, Soonhoc answers. “Everyone’s just waiting for you.”

“Remind me why I have to do this again?”

“To protect what you treasure the most.”, Xin answers.

“You said it yourself, you’d risk anything even at your expense.”, Soonhoc adds. “Its gonna be painless, Ji. It’ll be over before you know it. We just have to indulge them. It shouldn’t be a big deal.”

“Its not a big deal and the whole world is just going to judge me.”
