chapter 2
3 years back in timeRewind ( Tells you about what happen in the previous chapter )
In the previous chapter Hana decided to take up the challenge of going back in time to prevent Baekhyun from meeting the past her in order to ensure Baekhyun live pass the 3 years . Upon receving the notifications of the past her getting closer she was determined to prevent the meeting at all cost
I look at the phone and found out that I only had 3 more minutes before she would rush in, or, should I say, until I rushed in
Trying to calm myself down I took a deep breath and thought about how I met Baekhyun that first day and to try to come up with a way of preventing past me and Baekhyun from meeting.
After a moment I remember, I ran into someone right outside ....thats right! I ran into Baekhyun when he was trying to leave! I can't let him leave!
As if on cue, he stood up and prepared to leave the cafe.
! I must find a way to stop him .
Right try begging
"Please stay..." I called to him desperately.
He looked at me in surprise, wondering if I was crazy
"You remind me of my ex-boyfriend who had just died, please let me just have another look, please..." I begged. I was lying, but indeed my boyfriend had 'died'
"Ermm sorry miss as much as i want to help i am really rushing for time . " He said as he headed towards the exit but was stopped by me
"Just 5 minutes that's all and you haven't finish your food " I said pointing to the cookies
"Alright just 5 minutes " He said as he sat down and started munching on his cookies trying to avoid my eyes
Just as the door opened the phone stopped vibrating I guess i have stop the meeting ?
My eyes the slid to her watching her running in tear stained
I could remember clearly why I rushed in, my parents were fighting... my dad, borrowed money from the loan sharks again . I couldn't take the pressure and I rushed here ...my work place
"Miss are you ok?" Baekhyun asked awkwardly. As he noticed me losing focus
"Ah neh...I was just thinking of something.. Anyway Thanks i guess i will leave first you can continue eating your cookies " I said as i got up wanting to check if umma was okay as soon as possible
"Ermm okay... " He replied looking at me with a judgmental look
I mean who wouldn't if a person is begging you to stay and the next minute leaving as if nothing had happen
I then walked out heading towards my mother shop
As soon as i reached the shop i could see my mother cleaning the table with bruises through the crystal clear windows
" Umma ! " I accidentally shouted . I was overwhelmed . A tear then slide down my eyes . If only she was still alive . If only i could bring her back to the future too . I missed you mom...
" Hana ? " She called out
She must have mistaken me as the past me . I must never let her know of my true identity i can't fail this mission so soon
" Ah ? How do you know my name aunty ?" I feigned innocent
" How can i not know your name i am your mother why arent at work ?" My mother asked concerned
" Sorry aunty you must have mistaken me as your daughter I am here to get a job " I said trying to changed the subject
" A job ? Sorry we are not hiring " She said as she walked towards me " Well close up you look a bit different from my daughter "
" Ahh.. " I replied i was expecting the answer i had no plan of working here working here means increasing the chance of the past me and baekhyun meeting . However if i work here i can look after umma and i might prevent them from meeting if by chance baekhyun wander in to this shop . What should i do ? Maybe i should try to get this job i can quit any time soon can't i ? And i might prevent umma death
" I am really sorry we aren't earning enough to afford hiring another helper.." She apologized once again
" Well if that is the reason I will not take any pay i would just need a place to stay " I reasoned
" Well if that is the case.. You surely wouldn't mind sharing a room with my daughter would you ? Also i would give you 150 000 won as your pay " She asked
" Of course not aunty ! Can i start working now ?" I asked
" yes why not ? Come on let's bring your backpack and put it in my daughter room first'' She said as she noticed the heavy backpack i was carrying
" Neh . "
" I am sorry if the house is rather messy . My husband was drank " She said as she led me to the room
" Its okay are those brusises on your hand okay ?" I asked .
Giving a nod as a reply she opened the door to "my room"
" Sorry the design of the room it is rather plain " She apologized as i put my backpack down
" Its okay aunty " I replied with a smile . I knew it was the best she could afford for my room when we brought this house she spent days painting my room and ensuring it was of the best condition
" Let's start work now shall we ?" I asked trying to enlightened the mood
She nodded as we headed downstairs as she taught me ways to serve the customers and what to do
After a few hours i started wiping the table when the door opened
I turned my head to greet the customer and i realized it was me.
Author note : Merry Christmas everybody! Here is a chapter for Christmas don't be too busy opening present and forgetting to comment haha . Anyway i will be / trying to update once a week .
