I was awakened by a sudden touch on my stomach. Opening my eyes for a bit, I saw the face of the person that is my very reason to live. Thinking that it will be harder for me to get back to sleep, I adjusted my position so that I can hold her properly and let her snuggle into me comfortably.

A decade has almost passed by since I first uttered my feelings to her, but I guess the passing years only made me love her more. I still cannot believe that this angel in my arms have chosen me above all the riches and bright future laid down on her feet since she was young.

Because of my love for her, I thought of leaving her several times in the past. I am not proud of my past, specially some of the choices that I made. However, by some weird twist of fate, she was, and still is, my only saving grace. Being in a world where the only thing I know is how to survive, her coming into my life taught me a very important lesson in life – that I can love and be loved in return.

This is our story.

Hi.

It's been a while since I've posted something new here and I know that I still have an unfinished work but I just can't find the right inspiration to continue it in the meantime. However, I do have this new story which I am 90% sure that I can finish so I thought of starting to post it. 

Hope you can enjoy my story even if it may be a little vague sometimes. By the way, the story will not be long.
