He took a bite from his apple as he crossed the road...

He stopped to look at the other side.

*wrong side*

The truck was coming from the other side of which he was looking at.

*he didn't hear anything*

Someone shouted, "GET AWAY! GO AWAY!"

A lady screamed from the other side. She was holding a pram. A child on her husband's back.

Some people were holding their breaths.

A man waved his arms at Hongo. He glanced at the man. What?

Then there was a flash...

*pause*

A pull of brakes. Screeching. So loudly. And then.... everything.....

... was gone.
