Totally a cringeworthy, but I felt like I wanna write something so yeah... sorry for another lame shot, but I hope you enjoy it! :D

That coffee shop looked deserted. About five or six visitors who came to spend their Sunday afternoon by drinking delicious coffee that the shop could offer. Including for two people, a young man and a young lady, who sat face-to-face in their favorite corner of the place, the table near the wall which was hung a painting of peaches.

They looked so absorbed with what they were doing. Eyes focused on the papers before them on the table. Their right hands busied dancing on them, writing something. Their faces expression changed in some moments, frowning when they found their writing wasn’t working and smiling contently when they felt their works satisfied them. Occasionally sipping their glasses of coffee, the guy with a cup of hot black coffee and the girl with a glass of ice cappuccino, when they took a break and needed a moment to find inspiration.

After long minutes passed, the young man finally put his pencil on the table. A long sigh of relief let out from his mouth as he scanned the final result of what he wrote on the paper. His face formed a wide grin as he felt satisfied with his work.

“Hufth… finally!” He said, a content smile still plastered on his handsome face.

The young lady who sat across him looking up from her paper as she found the man had done with his work.

“Mark, you’ve finished?” She asked him, a smile appeared on her cute face.

“Yes. Woaaahhh… I really did it! And I beat you this time!” He cutely stuck his tongue out to the girl who rolled her eyes after seeing his childish behavior.

“Oh, please, Mark. I pitied you, so I let you win this time.” She, also as childish as Mark, stuck her tongue out, making him giggle.

“What about you, Jieun? Have you done?” He asked, his hand tried to take Jieun’s paper but the girl was so fast, hiding her paper behind her back.

“Almost!” She exclaimed, “give me five minutes then all done.”

Mark made a face and smugly said, “well, because I’m so kind to you, then I give you five more minutes.”

“Whatever!” She grimaced, then back to her paper, ignoring the loud chuckle from Mark.

As Jieun was back to focus with her pencil and paper, Mark silently watching her. Her long hair sometimes fell onto her face and the urge to reach his hand out and tuck that fallen hair behind her ear was so strong, but Mark held it, knowing that Jieun didn’t like to be disturbed when she was serious with her work. So, Mark just sat there before her, enjoying his five minutes to admire the beauty that sometimes Mark believed God must’ve been so kind to him to send an angel in form of a girl named Lee Jieun. Well, Mark never saw an angel, but he was sure that Jieun was an angel.

“Done!” Jieun suddenly exclaimed, hands clasping as her eyes looked at Mark’s direction.

Mark was a bit surprised, because he felt like five minutes passed so fast, but offer a smile to the excited Jieun.

“Okay. Now, show me your paper!” Jieun asked, eyes shining so brightly, impatient to see Mark’s ‘masterpiece’.

To her disappointment, Mark shook his head.

“Why?” She queried, shoulders slumping.

Mark smiled before he answering, “because I’ve beaten you, I want you to show me your paper first. Then, I’ll show you mine.”

Jieun contemplated with Mark’s request. Well, it was fair enough though. She shrugged and finally said, “okay!”

Then, she gave her paper to Mark who excitingly accepted the paper which filled with Jieun’s beautiful hand-writing. Mark took a quick glance to Jieun before diverting his attention to the paper. He started reading.

"With those legs that are so pretty by just standing still

You walk toward me and you hug me

You know you’re so beautiful

Maybe you will never know

I want to hide you in my embrace

And only I want to look at you…”

Mark couldn’t help but smiling widely after reading those verses. He could feel his heart thumping so hard against his chest, as if it knew that the owner of the heart feeling so happy in that moment.

He knew well that Jieun was a master in making sweet and romantic lyrics, because she was lyricist after all, and she had written so many beautiful lyrics for many singers in the industry. But this time, Mark couldn’t help but feeling so special. Those lyrics that she made was a special request from Mark himself. Been five years in relationship with Jieun, never once in his life that she wrote lyrics for him. Mark himself was not a romantic type of guy, but deep inside, he just wanted to feel what if his girlfriend made sweet and romantic lyrics for him, he must have been feeling special, more special.

It was the reason why he dragged her to their favorite coffee shop that afternoon in the first place, because he wanted to witness by his own eyes when Jieun wrote those special lyrics for him. And he never felt so happy as this moment when he finally received them from his lyricist girlfriend. His smile never left his face.

“Finally, you made it for me. Need five years for you to write these lyrics for me. Really? But, thank you. I appreciate this so much.” He shook his head in disbelief manner, but his tone was totally a joking one.

Hearing what Mark said, Jieun frowned. Her face looked confused.

“Yes, you’re right. I never wrote lyrics for you, but… those lyrics that I always made was all inspired by you, Mark Tuan.” She stated in matter-of-fact tone.

And her statement succeeded enough to make Mark widened his eyes in surprise. “Really?”
