That evening Kevin and Jiyeon had a dinner date before her flight to Jeju-do at a certain restaurant and Kevin told Jiyeon about AJ.

 

“HAHAHAHA!”

 

“Jiyeon, keep your voice down. People are staring at us.”

 

“That is so funny!”

 

“It’s not funny to me.”

 

“So you’re saying that this guy has a crush on you?!”

 

“It’s not like that…actually I’m not sure myself...”

 

“…and you spilled juice on his expensive coat?!”

 

“It was by accident!”

 

“…and he turned out to be your new boss?!”

 

“Kinda , right?”

 

Jiyeon tries to suppress her laughter as she saw Kevin staring at her. She clears .

 

“So..umm. How are you going to deal with him? ...in the hotel I mean.”

 

“I have no idea, all I know is that he hates me. He asked me to do so many ridiculous tasks today.”

 

“Is he handsome? Should I be worried?”

 

“Jagi, are you serious?”

 

Jiyeon chuckled at Kevin’s confused face, So cute.

 

“Actually, I can’t stop thinking about him.” Kevin smirked.

 

“He’s so handsome. No kidding. For a second I thought he’s someone famous.”

 

“Huh?”

 

“I wouldn’t mind going gay for him.”

 

Jiyeon was startled, she stared at Kevin’s face in disbelief.

 

“You’ve got to be kidding… right?”

 

Now it’s Kevin’s turn to laugh.

 

“You’d scared me! Don’t you ever do that to me again!”

 

Kevin leaned forward and caresses Jiyeon’s cheek gently.

 

“There’s no one else but you.”

 

Kevin took her hand and kissed it gently.

 

“I know.”

 

Kevin smiled at his girlfriend’s reaction. Jiyeon was so relieved that Kevin was just lying about being gay for his boss. But little did she know that one thing is true though.

 

Kevin can’t stop thinking about him.

“Where is Kevin?”

 

Jaeseop’s voice filled the office.

 

“He’s not here yet, Mr. Kim”

 

Kibum replied, his voice shakes.

 

“I wonder what Kevin did to him. Why is he torturing Kevin?”

 

“I feel sorry for Kevin hyung. He’s the executive manager meaning his position isn’t that low, he doesn’t deserve to be treated like that.”

 

Kibum and Dongho stopped talking as Jaeseop passed by them, heading towards the door.

 

“Gawd hyung, he’s scary!”

 

“I’m a year older than him for crying out loud. What did I do in my previous life to deserve a boss like that?!”

 

Kevin came rushing towards the door, panting.

 

“Kevin”

 

Kevin heart races at the sound of that voice. It happens almost every time. He turned his head,

 

“Yes?”

 

Jaeseop was standing, one arm on the door. He’s holding an apple in another hand.

 

“Why are you late?”, asked Jaeseop, coldly.

 

“I’m not late Mr. Kim, I punched in at exactly 8:00 am.”

 

“8:01 am, I checked it. You’re late.”

 

Kevin gulped his own saliva. He didn’t expect him to check that.

 

“Come with me.”, He ordered.

 

Kevin sighed. He wonder what tasks he could possibly get to do today. Jaeseop sat on his chair. Kevin waited for him to speak. None of them ever say anything about the incident at the deli. They both acted like it never happened.

 

“Here, I want you to finish it by tomorrow morning.”

 

Jaeseop handed Kevin a blue file.

 

A file? No nonsense work today?

 

After a week of nonsense work, Kevin is finally given a sensuous task. He took the file and skimmed through.

 

“Mr. Kim, how can I possibly come up with a new project for the hotel overnight?”

 

Jaeseop raised an eyebrow.

 

“I..mean, it took at least a week for a team to usually finish this.”

 

“I don’t care how you’ll do it, I want it by tomorrow.”

 

“But…that’s not possible.”

 

“Our CEO, Mr. Nam wants it tomorrow. Or else we won’t have anything to present on our next board meeting”

 

Kevin didn’t know how to react.

 

“You have to present it to him tomorrow. It’s your chance to prove to the big boss that you don’t deserve to be doing what you call it…nonsense work?”
