Foreword

"Do you love me?"

Those words echoed in me through the days I kept living. I struggled having to get caught into a dilemma I'm not proud of but there was nothing else I could do.

I stared at her. My eyes just kept blinking, Her hands clenched into fists and her eyes are starting to tear up. She waited for an answer, her ears bled to hear at least one answer of the two. Deep down she expected that I would turn her down but she also denied to herself that, at least, somewhere deep down the facade and the fame, I would say I do. The paranoia battled inside her and she waited for me to answer in vain.

I could hear her heartbeat as the surrounding that was once summer turned sepia, turned grey and now turned black.

I tried to mutter something but i had no voice. I was literally speechless.

As I tried to reach for her hand, it slowly faded away like there was nothing I could do. And then she started to fade away as well, with the image of her sobbing. I tried to reach out more, I ran towards her but nothing. It was impossible, she was too far away.

NO!

I woke up in the middle of the night and immediately looked at the bed next to me, to see if Yixing heard my scream. But no, he was fast asleep.

Slowly I began to lean on the wall and looked out of the window.

I didn't know why but I suddenly just began to cry.

It just hurts.
