“She’s different,” Luhan muses.

“That’s what you said about the other girl,” Sehun replies flatly.

“Only one other,” Luhan growls. “And she died,” he shrugs. His eyes turn glassy and ready for a round of tears.

“And then you followed suit,” Sehun shakes his head.

“I couldn’t let her be alone in Heaven,” Luhan grins. “It wasn’t so bad after that, seeing as I got my wings and she’s got-”

“Her new man,” Sehun cuts in, making a face. Luhan laughs, trying to make it seem like it sounds worse than the actual thing. She left him. And Luhan gladly accepted his new job in Heaven.

“Your currently non-existent wings…” Sehun reminds him.

“Shut up. Yours were in the furnace too,” Luhan snaps.

“Are you going to tell her? That girl from work?”

“That I like her?” Luhan sounds scandalized.

“No,” Sehun rolls his eyes. “That you’re a… fallen angel,” he scrunches up his face, trying not to laugh. 

Luhan snorts. “I’d rather tell her we’re gay lovers.”
