"Morning, unnie, how was your sleep?"

"Terrible."

"Hm...? Oh yeah, that's great."

The young Jung sisters had just woken up from a decent seven hours of sleep from yesterday's hectic schedule and now have to work an even twelve hours of modeling, photo editing, and interviews. The only consolation they have is that the company supplies food and drink during work hours, so you can eat whenever you want as long as it's not during a photo shoot.

Both girls made their way to the bathroom slowly, finished up their morning routine sleepily, and shuffled back into their rooms to dress up for the day. Either sister was just about ready to collapse on the ground and fall into a deep sleep, but both were motivated to get to work on time, unlike usual.

Jessica emerged from her room with a casual, simple outfit consisting of a loose graphic t-shirt paired with white jeans and short heeled boots. She was holding her favorite white Polaroid camera carefully in her hands, as well as a medium-sized bag that would hold her essentials, including the camera. Once her sister came out, she snapped a surprise photo followed by a quick giggle.

"Jess, it's six-twenty-five in the morning, save the pictures for seven." She blinked her made-up face sleepily, taking her sister's arm and dragging her off to the table to make and eat a quick breakfast.

"You're no fun, Soojung-ie. What's on the menu for breakfast this morning?" Jessica sat herself on the counter of the kitchen while Krystal rummaged through their almost-empty fridge.

"Uh... Looks like we're either going to have to get something to eat or eat last night's dinner."

"McDonald's it is!"

"How do you even know there's one around here?"

"What are you talking about? They're everywhere."

— JANUARY 19, 2014 (06:34:58): STAR MUSEUM MODELING AGENCY HQ.

The Jung siblings arrived in style at SM Headquarters, driven in by Krystal's manager and supposed chauffeur. Both girls were satisfied by their cool entrance into the building, shades and coffee, like at the airport. As they reached the room they were to work in for the day, an older man approached them with a smile on his face.

"Annyeonghaseo! My name is Lee Sooman, the CEO and chairman of this company. Ah, you two must be our newest stars, Sooyeon and Soojung. We're extremely excited to finally meet you and encourage you get to work as soon as possible, so we already have a few models lined up for you to work with." He bowed as the girls bowed back politely.

"Thank you, we look forward to working with you." Sooyeon fluently stated her words, since she was the more experienced sister. The man gestured into the studio with one hand, waiting for them to go inside before entering himself. The two entered the room, beginning to familiarize themselves with the place, knowing the other studios must look similar to this.

"The first man is Jo Minho and the younger is Kim Haejin, or Irene," He informed the photographer.

Jessica looked to the left where she saw two models, one male and one female. She strode over to them and admired their bone structure, their stature, their hair and face. Both models felt a bit intimidated to be in the presence of this famous American photographer, but she made sure to tone down her cold aura just a bit for first impressions. Although she was the more playful one of the two, she was the most serious and passionate about her job.

"These two would be perfect with my sister. When do we get started?"

"Oh, no, there's still one missing, I think he's still getting changed." The CEO headed for the dressing room across the way only to be greeted by a jiggling doorknob and a handsome face. "Ah, here he is. Lee Donghae, one of Korea's top models, along with Irene."

In Jessica's mind, everything was in slow motion when she turned her head to see him. When their eyes met, everything that was going on seemed to have stopped as a mental camera took a snapshot of that moment and planted it in her brain. That handsome stranger was one of Korea's top models and her fated prince. Of course, something had to go wrong, right?

"Jess, I think you're scaring him," Krystal chuckled as her elder sister realized her cold front rose instead of her dazed side emerging. Donghae awkwardly walked over to the line of other models, also intimidated by the two girls' massive presence.

"These two young girls are from our branch in Los Angeles and are the best at what they do. The girl closest to you is Jung Sooyeon or Jessica, whichever you prefer, and the taller is Jung Soojung or Krystal. I hope you find everything well, please feel free to ask if you have any questions, I'll be just four doors down." Sooman smiled, then exited the room, leaving the five to themselves. After a short period of silence because of Jessica's nervous examination of her prince, she clasped her hands together and nodded.

"Alright people, we're going to have a very productive session of modeling today, so I ask for no lazy expressions, lots of cooperation, and that no one feel uncomfortable with me or Soojung," She stated calmly, still stealing glances at Donghae from time to time. "I'd like to ask you all for your trust and dedication to your work, and that we'd all have a great time working together today, got it?" She curved the corners of upward into a delicate, small smile, then took in a deep breath after nodding at the models to get to practicing poses.

"This is weird that you're the boss, considering you're one of the youngest among us."

"Shut up, Krys, you still have to do what I tell you." The sixteen-year-old shut and left to get changed. Meanwhile, Jessica walked over to the camera in the middle of the room and took if off the tripod. "Interesting. Mm... Let's have Irene and Minho together for the first few shots, then have solo shots of everyone else." Krystal came out of the dressing room completely changed, personality and clothing-wise. The look on her face was chic and cold, since she already knew what to do for the shoot.

"Let's go." She nodded at her sister.

"Looks like Jung Krystal has finally arrived." She smiled, gesturing the first two models to the set.

— JANUARY 19, 2014 (11:27:22): STAR MUSEUM MODELING AGENCY HQ.

"Alright, Krystal, go."

"Why am I always last?"

"Because last always gets the best shots."

By this time, Jessica was starting to forget that her prince was there, yet he couldn't stop looking at her. His thoughts on her weren't exactly good, but they weren't bad either. She, to him, was a good person to make friends with, but was extremely hard to approach because of her endless confidence and fierce intimidation. Of course, she was also really difficult to read, so there's that. Donghae was still drawn to her for an unexplainable reason, almost as if they were fated to meet like this.

Sooyeon would almost always catch his stares because she just so happens to stare at people she wants to put into her life. Both were so awkward with each other, but they both found interest in each other because of how striking their personalities and first impressions seemed to be. The moment she found him again was one of the most surprising and happiest moments she's ever had in her life, especially since she was starting to believe what her dongsaeng said was true, even if it only has been one day. All she knew was that she was in love with a man she barely met that day.

"Do you think these shots are fine? Because we still have to edit them." She gathered the models around the computer in the corner. Donghae took in a deep breath, still a little shaken by their first meeting.

This is my chance, we can get to know each other more if I say something-

"They look great, Sooyeon-sshi. Wow, is this really impressive! How long have you been a photographer?" Irene spoke while looking at Jessica's face from behind with a smile.

"Actually, I started when I was fourteen. I'm twenty-one now. How long have you been modeling?" She answered, relieved that she was finally able to make friends because her cold front had lowered.

"It's break time! You deserve one after working four straight hours." Lee Sooman popped in shortly, only to disappear again for the privacy of the models and photographer.

"Let's talk at lunch, we'll have more time then." Irene stated as the younger girl nodded, heading to the ladies' dressing room to change and grab her bag.

"Hey, Jung ladies, you're pretty cool. Let's all just do lunch together. Donghae hyung usually talks a lot, so maybe some food will loosen his mouth up." Minho chuckled before patting the two younger girls on the shoulders and also running to dressing room. Krystal let out a shy chuckle and also strutted into the girls' dressing room, leaving the two awkwardly acquainted people alone. Jessica stood up from the computer and walked to the tripod, still unnoticing the (already changed) male pretending to be busy on his phone. Donghae cleared his throat just loud enough to get her attention.

"Hm? Oh, hey. You're still here?" She blankly asked, not wanting to say much, considering how awkward her words would make the situation seem.

"Eh, oh yeah. I like to stick around for a while after photo shoots." He replied shortly, returning his focus to her pretty figure. "Have you ever thought about modeling yourself? I mean, you have the stature and face for it." The older said, internally cringing at such a creepy compliment for someone he just met.

"Uh, no, I can never be in front of the camera. I hate being in pictures." She stated coldly, slapping herself on her forehead softly for replying in such an inhospitable way. Jessica walked towards the dressing room door to grab a few things from her bag off the table nearby.

"Oh," Are conversations with her always going to be so hard? He asked himself self-consciously. He decided he was going to make friends with her no matter how long it would take. Just before he knew what was about to happen, the girls' dressing room door swung open, followed by a high-pitched squeal that sent Jessica forward into the boy's arms. If not for his quick reaction, she would have fallen on the ground and possibly injured herself.

Irene emerged with a semi-surprised look on her picturesque face. "Sooyeon-ah, flirting with Donghae oppa already, huh? Be careful, you have a lot of competition." She chuckled at the two while Krystal watched from behind. The flustered girl quickly jumped off him while he played along with Irene's gimmick.

"Hey, look, don't touch." Donghae straightened out his dress shirt while shooting a quick glance at Jessica's darling expression, her lower lip jutted out into a pout and a light pink blush spread across her cheeks.

"It's not my fault you caught me." She faced away, crossed her arms, and blew her bangs out of her face.

"Alright, alright, enough. Let's get lunch." Krystal swung her arms around the two older girls' necks and smiled in amusement as the four of them left the studio for lunch.
