Five years after the end of their university relationship, Xiumin and Luhan meet again. It's easy to start talking, easier to hold a conversation, the easiest thing in the world to find that compatible rhythmn, tucked away on a small sofa in the corner of their mutual friends' apartment, a smattering of others' conversations ringing their ears, and none really penetrating. Of course it would be easy to start up this kind of relationship again. After all, they used to be so good at this kind of thing: the small talk, the light touches, the familiarity.
It was everything and everyone else in life that took them for granted, before and now.
Foreword
My first actual Xiuhan fic where they're not the sideship, and perfectly fitting for my No. 1 OTP - Probably just a one or twoshot. A little fluffy, but not without depth. Inspired by a TV couple in a show I watched where the pair meet back up and discuss how good their passionate relationship used to be, it was just the little things in life they weren't good at. This story is just the reverse.
I've actually gone through and revised this! Mostly because I kept screwing up the tenses, but now it is how I like it, and the story has not significantly changed. Thank you for reading :)
