Foreword

“Playing in the empty house, haunted house…”
Dongwoo hummed a random song he had just found out while he was walking through the long
corridor. He beat the rhythm on the wall with his left hand and moved his head along with the
imaginary tune. He was totally lost in his own little word when suddenly a sound of creaking
wheels hit his ears. He rushed to the closest window and glued to the glass to get a clearer view
of the outside happenings. To his surprise, a black car was parked right in front of the house
and two men stood behind it with huge luggage beside them.
He blinked a few times, letting the information sunk into his brain, then spun around and ran to
the attic where his friends were resting. He couldn’t hide his excitement, he started shouting on
the top of his lungs.
His words echoed in the whole house.
“Guys, we got a new playmate”
