Chaerin’s POV

Okay mom . I admit , he’s very attractive with his pale skin , golden hair , and sparkly brown eyes . He’s an angel sent from heaven ! That girl Dara sure is lucky to have him as her best friend . 

When everything was cleaned up , they all started talking again . I really hate being with my mom sometimes . I came here with her because she told me we were going out to buy new books for me to study ! 

“ Excuse me , Mrs. Kwon and Mrs. Lee ? “ Dara said .

“ Yes Dara-ssi ? “ My mom replied as everyone in the table looked at her .

“ I actually have to go right now . My mom and I have to go to Busan today for my aunts wedding on Monday . She needs a lot of things to get done . She really needs our help . “ Dara-ssi explained .

“ I’ll go with you . “ Jiyong-ssi said .

“ No , Ji . I’ll be gone for only 3 days anyways ! “ Dara told him .

“ But I want to ! “ Jiyong whined .

“ Kwon Jiyong . “ Mrs. Kwon said in a scary voice that made Jiyong-ssi stop .

Who would’ve known that such a cute looking woman can be so scary at the same time ? Mrs. Kwon and my mom sure have so much in common …

“ Fine , fine . I’ll walk her out to the door . “ 

As Jiyong walks Dara to the door , mom and Mrs. Kwon ordered food for the four of us . They walked to the cash register and started picking the food they would like to eat . Jiyong-ssi came back to the table and we were both alone .

Don’t you just hate those awkward moments with someone you just met ? I took out my phone and pretended that I was texting someone when I was actually saying hi to tons of people just to avoid the awkward situation . I kept on glancing at mom and Mrs. Kwon , and at Jiyong-ssi . 

“ At least one person reply , please . “ I kept whispering to myself .

“ Chaerin-ssi . “ Jiyong said .

“ Y-yes ? “ Why the hell am I stuttering ?

“ How old are you ? “ Jiyong asked .

“ I’m 19 . How about you ? “ I asked back .

“ Really ? Wow . Call me Jiyong Oppa from now on then . “ Jiyong said .

I had a confused look on my face . Why should I call him ‘Oppa' ? He looks way younger than me ! 

“ I’m 21 . “ He said .

I let out a silent “ Oh “ as he chuckled . Who wouldn’t when they see my face right ? He was probably trying to stop himself from laughing since he kept on grinning . 

“ Chaerin-ah , can I call you Chae ? Or Hunchae ? “ Jiyong asked .

“ You can call me anything Jingyo Oppa . “ I replied with a small smile .

“ Jingyo ? Isn’t it Jiyong ? C’mon Chae , get it right ! But hey , Jingyo sounds cuter than Jiyong . Never mind that , call me Jingyo Oppa from now on . “ Jiyong Oppa said .

I didn’t know that he was talkative and social . I thought he would be quiet and normal . By normal , I mean him not talking about what I should call him from now on .

“ Okay Oppa . “ I said as I went back to my phone .

“ Chae , can I get your number ? I want to stay in contact with you . You seem really cool and fun to hang out with , you know ? “ He smiled .

“ Sure , here . “ I gave him my phone as he typed in his number . 

I watched his every move as he typed his number into my phone . I smiled as I adore his facial features . He just looks so perfect ! Too bad him and his bestfriend probably have something going on . Lee Chaerin , you need to stop being delusional and get back to reality . You can't be with him !  I snapped back to reality when Jiyong lifted his head and gave me back my phone . He smiled at me and I felt my whole stomach run wild . 

" Call me later , okay Hunchae ? " Jiyong said .

" If I have time . " I joked . I saw Jiyong pout and it was the most cutest thing I've ever seen !

" I'm just kidding , I will ! " I said .

I changed Jiyong Oppa's name to " Ji Oppa " . After that , I saved it and sat back on my seat . When I lifted my head up , I saw my mom and his mom looking at us . Their facial expression was kind of priceless. They both looked really shock ! For some reason, it looks like they just saw someone get ran over by a truck . I looked at Jiyong as he looked back at me . I guess he noticed that our mom's looked hilarious ? 

The restaurant was getting filled with laughters and snorts as me and Ji started laughing real hard . It's quite embarrasing but neither of us care . Everyone was sending daggers at us since we were probably ruining their lunch with their loved ones while our mom's were trying to calm us down . 

" Ya ! Both of you , be quiet ! Your embarrassing your selves ! " My mom said . 

" Okay okay . Are you guys done eating ? " I asked . 

" Yeah , let's go . We're going home now . See you soon , Ji Yae ! " My mom said as we exit the restaurant .

" Remember what I told you Chae ! " Ji said before they disappeared . 

On our way to the parking lot , my mom kept stealing glances at me . Was she suspicous about something or is there something on my face that she's not telling me to take off ? 

" Mom , what are you looking at ? " I asked .

" Nothing .. " She replied .

" Mom , c'mon now . " I said .

" It's really nothing ! " She said again . 

" Mom . Please tell me . " I pleaded .

" Alright fine . It's just that you and Jiyong just met today and you two seem like you're getting along very well . " She said .

" Is .. that a bad thing ? " I asked .

" No , not at all . It's good actually ! So when you two get married -- " 

" I'M . NOT . MARRYING . HIM . " I said .

" Why not Chae ? You two already exchanged numbers and call each other nicknames ! " My mom stated .

That's true , but I don't want to marry someone I just met ! I know Jiyong oppa's really attractive and handsome , but he might not be the one for me . He's also probably dating his bestfriend ! Besides , I want to get to know him better rather than just forcefully get married to him right away . I do not like the idea of arranged marriage . 

" That's different mom . We're just close friends ! I bet you we won't even talk after today . " I said .

" Uhuh , I bet you guys will call each othe-- " My mom was cut off by the ringing of my phone .

I took it out as I read the name of the caller . 

" Ji Oppa ... What did I tell you ? You guys will call each other . "  My mom stated .

" N-no ! That's someone else , and that's not his nickname ! " I said .

" Answer it then . " Is my mom really challenging me ?

It's just your Oppa Chae . Everything will be fine .

But I like him .. 

It's one-sided Chaerin ! Can't you see he likes his bestfriend , and not you ?

You never know ... 

After fighting with my self and my mother , I answered my phone before the last ring . 

" Jingyo Oppa ! "

A/N ; Hi guys ! Sorry for the really really really late update ! I promise this time to be back on writing . 

Anyways , how are you guys ? Sorry for my bad grammar . This is still raw and I'm revising this tomorrow .

The other characters will be coming up soon ! Should I add Kiko ? xD I might change this story too . I feel like it's too childish but at the same time , I find it really cute xD 

So yea , we will see !
