( Mina/You x  Zhang Yixing ) 

     When you're young, you are given a charm, chain, basically something that's unique to only you and your soulmate.  They say that the two halves, whatever it may be, connects somehow--it's a way to confirm that she/he is your soulmate.  Since the item is one of a kind, it can be sold for a huge sum of money, if someone did try to steal the item from either of you, it would cause discomfort to the stranger possessing it.  How does it do this? Well depending on your power and of your soulmate's, it will cause pain in that way.   

    ^I.E.  If your power were water, the person that stole your item would make the them feel as if they were drowning. If it were fire, it would burn them and so on.  There are about 12 different types of powers in the world.  What if you're just showing the one of a kind item to your friends and family?  Well it will know.  Yes, the unique object can sense if you're in distress over it, worried, or whatever it may be towards it.  Just like how you get worried about your phone when you can't find it--you get that sick and really worried feeling in the bottom of your stomach. 

     Mina never liked the idea of having a soulmate, she could never wrap her head around the idea of someone out there, in the huge & vast world, you're meant to be with that person--she really didn't understand.  She already had a huge crush on Suho, he's such a sweetheart, kind, funny, really good looking, just Mina's type.  That is until one day she felt a sharp and burning sensation on her left ankle. It was her "fated mark*."  They say it isn't always the case for soulmates to get the symbol of their partner at the exact sametime.  Another meaning of the symbol shows that you are mature enough to have a relationship. 

     Mina was determined to figure out who her partner was, but before she did so, she had sat down and talked to her parents.  They didn't bother to hold in their happiness and joy for their precious daughter's coming of age and turns out they're friends with her soulmate's parents.  What.  Turns out they had hoped for her partner to be the one, the only, Zhang Yixing!  .        

*Fated Mark = Like mentioned above, this mark appears if and when you are ready to be in a relationship and of course, it shows itself when you are old enough to be in a relationship.  So along with the one of a kind item that you and your soulmate have, it's a plus or more like a reassurance to both parties.
