You opened your apartment door and removed your boots. For the last two days, you can finally have some time for yourself. You barely had any since your lovable boy-girl twins born 7 months ago. You visited your parents, met your friends, got a new haircut, went shopping without having to hurry, and had lunch at your favourite restaurant. You thought that you would forget everything at home, but instead, you keep worrying and wondering how your husband and twins were doing.

You found them at the living room, you looked at Seunghyun; he wore a worn-out white t-shirt and sweat pants, his hair were messy, he had red eyes, and dark circles under his eyes were getting more visible. Even in this condition, you still find him cute.

He was holding Jaehwa, your twin girl, in his arms, while Jaesun, the twin boy, tried to crawl his way to Seunghyun. Seunghyun looked at you, his face screamed ‘thank God you’re finally here’ and you couldn’t help but giggle when you saw him. You sat on the mat and picked Jaesun up,

“Wahh, my babies have already woken up” Jaesun laughed and pat your cheeks, he’s happy to see you,

“What do you mean ‘have already woken up’, jagiya? They haven’t sleep all night. A few hours, maybe. But they never sleep at the same time, I didn’t get to sleep, at all! When I finally put Jaehwa to sleep, Jaesun woke up and start crying and Jaehwa would wake up again. Both of them would be crying if I left to get their bottles. And Jaehwa rarely finished her milk while Jaesun always craves for some more. And then—“

Seunghyun kept talking, or ranting, you should say. As much as he loves the twins, the fact that babysit them required a lot of energy and that he didn’t get any sleep annoyed him. You chuckled after he stopped his rants,

“Why? Why are you laughing? Happy to see me suffer?”

“Noo, it’s just really funny to see the way you talk about them”

“Twins are cute, hyungs and their wives always tell me that I’m the lucky one. But they really have no idea it was this hard to raise them.” He shook his head while cradling Jaehwa,

“See? They envy you, you should be grateful for having a boy-girl twins” you said, “Anyway, they were like that most of the times, oppa. You have to be lucky enough to see them sleep at the same time at night.”

“Most of the times?” you nodded as a response,

“...So most of the times, you only had so little time to sleep? Or even not sleeping at all?” you nodded again,

“And you still manage to cook, clean the house, do the laundry, and take care of the three of us?”

“Well, I have to. That’s what housewives do” you said as you noticed that Jaesun had been asleep in your arms. You put him down and cover him with a small blanket. Seunghyun was amazed at how easy Jaesun fell asleep in your arms, and how gentle you are when it comes to taking care of your twins. He looked somehow guilty and ashamed, but you didn’t see it because you looked around the living room, and saw an undecorated christmas tree beside the TV cabinet,

“I see you took out the christmas tree. Thank you, oppa” you lowered your voice, afraid you’d wake your son up.

“I’m sorry I didn’t get to decorate the tree”

You turned your head to him, “I understand that. Taking care of the twins is already a hard work. We can decorate it together tomorrow” you patted his arms. Now Jaehwa had also fell asleep, Seunghyun put her down and tucked her in.

“I’m also sorry because I didn’t help you more. I only took care of them for two days and complained a lot. I have no idea you have to go through this everyday, jagiya” He held your hand and caressing it, unable to look into your eyes,

“Ey, oppa, it’s fine, really. That’s what I have to do as a mother. You already have enough work outside, so I understand that” you placed your other hand above his hand, “thank you for working hard to provide everything for us”

You heard a small cough. You and Seunghyun turned to the source of the sound,

“I think we’re finished” the cameramen inside the tent said. You suddenly felt embarassed, totally forget the fact that there were cameras around. You remove your hands, both of you stood up, and the cameramen and other staff started to tidy everything up. After they done in around thirty minutes, you escorted them to the front door and bowed while thanking them for their hard work.

You walked back to the living room and tidy up the toys that scattered everywhere, you were almost finished putting everything back to the toys box when Seunghyun approached you with a white thin box decorated with a red bow,

“I actually wanted to give it on your birthday, which is after Christmas, but I’ll make it a Christmas gift instead” he gave the box to you. You opened it and lift what’s inside; a beautiful tight-fitted short black dress,

“Do you like it?” he asked,

“I do. It’s pretty. But I think you like it more than I do. It’s around... 20 to 25 centimeters above the knees, backless, and lacey too. That’s so you”

He laughed, “I would like it even more if you wear that to our dinner date on Christmas Eve”

“Dinner? But—“

“I already asked my mom to babysit the twins”

“You sure it won’t be too troublesome for her?”

“Nah, she’s more than willing to do it”

You thought about that,

“Well, okay then”, you said as you packed the dress back to its box. He already prepared everything, all spontaneously, you guessed. You also guessed that it was because he was feeling guilty. You didn’t mind though, since you can’t remember when was the last time you spend some time only with him outside the house,

“That was a pretty dress right? Too bad it wouldn’t last long after the dinner, I think” He looked at you mischievously,

“Jagiya, just... please make sure our ‘Christmas Eve event’ won’t... produce anything...” he added.

You laughed at him, without any sound, trying not to wake your twins up, as he kept trying to assure you with an adorable nervous expression that he was serious.
