“Japan?” Saehee’s brows furrowed.

“Just four months, I need you to take care of a project.”

“But, abeoji, that~”

“I know you know nothing about it, so I had my secretary mail it to you.” Her father smiled at her. Saehee sighed and nodded.

“I know I must be disturbing you and Mark but~”

“It’s fine, appa. But you should have told me earlier if you need to fly there next week.” Saehee grinned before giving him a hug.

“Then I’ll be heading out first.”

“So, where are we heading?” Saehee asked as he got inside the BMW convertible, Mark smiled behind his sunglasses before starting the car.

“I’m leaving for Japan next week.”

Mark made a face at her before taking her hand as he drove.

“What about you? Taiwan?”

“Next week too, can you come with me instead?”

“Would you like my father to disown me?” She chuckled. Mark just smiled.

“Where are we going?” She glanced at the backseat.

“Towels?”

“I was hoping to see the beach today.”

“Someone misses LA.” She chuckled and leaned back.

“Do you wanna visit before the year ends?”

“Together? Sounds great.”

“Then it’s a deal.” Mark kissed her hand before letting go.

“You wanted to go to Jeju?” Saehee asked as they got in the barge, Mark grinned as he walked to her. He watched as his car was being parked inside the boat.

Saehee smiled as the sea’s breeze touch her face.

“You’re having separation anxiety, I can feel it.” Saehee chuckled as she leaned against the railings. Mark put on her sunglasses and touched her hair briefly.

“It’s funny right? Almost eight years ago, we flew here to study and look now,” She mused.

“Look now, we’re leaving the country again.” Mark grinned.

“Ani, I meant, look, we apparently are dating.” Saehee nodded solemnly.

“Yes, and I’m the only one worried about the two of us being in different countries.”

Saehee kissed his cheek.

“It’s going to be fine, Tuan. Chill.”

“I cannot believe you made me ditch work for this.” Saehee shook her head as they walked towards the Teddy Bear Museum.

“It’s been a while since we last visited,…four years ago?”

Saehee nodded, Mark took her hand as they went inside the place.

“You know,” Mark started as they bought tickets.

“I can visit right? Japan?”

Saehee laughed before walking towards the souvenir shop.

“Clingy Tuan.” She said before picking up one of the teddy bears.

“Ya.” Mark grumbled.

“Of course you can, I’ll fly to Taiwan too, just to check if you are really in your office.”

Mark smiled comfortably.

“I know we’re supposed to look around first, but can you buy me this?”

“I like your hair when it’s darker.” Saehee said as they walked beside the beach.

“I like it better when you wear jeans.” Mark said dryly.

“Mark, summer doesn’t really work well with jeans.”

Mark made a face but he just planted one arm around her waist.

“What if I meet an uber handsome Japanese guy?” She mused.

“I’m not sure whom you’re talking to? Your best friend or your boyfriend?” Mark asked flatly. Saehee chuckled.

“Hmmm, both…?”

“We never did settle about the bodyguards, Sae. Would you like me to~”

“Okay, got it. No looking at good looking Japanese men.” She shrugged. Mark grinned and pecked her lips.

“I’m going to miss you, you now that right?”

“Yes, and you can be adorably clingy at times.”

“Isn’t this too sad?” Jackson frowned as they are dinner at the Jung residence, Yunho chuckled at the younger male.

“What is mandu?”

“Hyung’s leaving, your leaving and it’s just going to be me and Lauren.” He whined, Mark grinned and slapped his cousin’s arm.

“I’m worried, leaving Lauren with you. Even though she is your child.” Saehee murmured.

“But, I actually have no plans not to give you a hard time.” Lauren added, Mark nodded and patted her head.

“What?” Jackson balked.

“Anyway, Saehee’s flight is this weekend, you?” Yunho asked Mark.

“Next Monday, hyung.”

“Aw, too bad for you, cousin, you’re going to miss her first!”
