Chanyeol stood there frozen in front of the beautiful boarding home. The modern look and the comfortable feel of the place left the giant awe-struck and amazed. If the exterior looks this neat, he wonders how the interiors would fare. He gulps as he bells the intercom.

"Hello, good morning, my name is Park Chanyeol. I'm your new..."

Before he could he even continue, the girl in the other end of the intercom interrupts him excitedly. "Ah! Chanyeol-ah! Welcome to Mama Shin's Boarding House! We've been waiting for you! The door is open!"

He was pretty amazed by the warm welcome. As he enters, a brawny man wearing a cute, ruffled apron greets him. His hair is long and he sports thick facial hair. His face and clothes seem to not match at all. Beside him is a fairly beautiful maiden. Judging from her looks she's probably in her twenties. She looks pretty with a big pretty smile on her face and greets the towering new boarder.

"Hello, there, Chanyeol-ah. We've heard so much about you from your mother. I would like to introduce to you the owner of Mama Shin's Boarding House, Shin Sungwoo-sonsaengnim," she says as she gracefully waves her hands to the brawny man. "I am his apprentice, Lee Yoonji, and I help around especially in the housework and management of the place. If you have any questions, you can always come to us," she instructs as the burly man nods in agreement.

"Don't be shy around us, Chanyeol-ah. Treat this place like it's your second home and the people here like your second family," the man adds.

Chanyeol greets them back with a full bow. "I will!" he replies eagerly. They seemed like warm people and it makes things just easier for Chanyeol to open up to them. He wonders how Jongin was able to locate such a place. It's within close proximity to the university - a fairly good walking distance - and the place is very well furnished - amenities are good and furnished very neatly. A place too good to be true.

The noona of the place guided Chanyeol to the second floor where his room is located and gave him his keys. Three keys to be exact - for the gate, the front door and his room. He was pretty amazed that the room is very well decorated. A room intended for young adults of his age. Sophisticated bed covers and comforters, a chic-looking cabinet and a computer of the latest specs on the bedside study table. Chanyeol just gapes at the beautiful and awe-striking sight. He looks around and sees another bed just across his.

Before he could even ask, Yoonji the apprentice tells him. "You will be sharing this room with another boarder, Chanyeol-ah. He will be here soon and I hope you two get along well," she smiles and closes the door leaving Chanyeol unable to respond back.

As Chanyeol looks around, he comes across a framed list of instructions. He looks closely and reads what's written on it. It says:

5 Roommate Rules:

1. Get along well with your roommate. You may differ in opinions and ideals but that doesn't mean you can't be friends. Be open-minded and accept each other's differences.
2. All expenses within this room are shared between and among roommates. Power and water consumptions and all other utilities will be charged accordingly per room and not per person. Make sure you talk it out with your roommate.
3. Strangers are not welcome here. If ever you invite someone you know, like your family, make sure you let us know ahead of time and give proper identification. This is a safety precaution. Friends are only welcome until 10 PM, two hours before curfew. Curfew is strictly implemented.
4. Treat this place as if it's your home. Don't vandalize or destroy what's inside your room. Treat things with utmost care. If ever there are problems (may it be technicalities with the facilities or even matters of the heart), just call Mama Shin for assistance. He is available 24/7.
