Chapter 5- Law of Inertia

“He’s such a gentleman, I swear, and he’s also cute, and you would never get tired of talking to him, though his life story is really sad, he is all smiles, I just wish I can wipe his pains away” Baekhyun sighed before slumping on the sofa, looking at the mimosa on their backyard before an image of Chanyeol which made him a blushing mess

“hm-mm, hyung, I really sympathize Chanyeol-hyung and all, but you keep on blabbering about him, for two hours, two hours hyung, and I can’t finish my homework with you gushing about your crush, go find Luhan-hyung or something, he might find it interesting to listen to you” Sehun sassed his hyung without looking at him and just focused on his home work

Baekhyun pouted before he stood up, “you could’ve been more kinder than that, you ungrateful maknae” he huffed before grabbing his coat to head outside, maybe disturb Kyungsoo on his work or something, either way just finding someone to talk about how great Chanyeol is, and maybe, talk about the deep he is right now, or just grab a cup of coffee

That sounds like an idea, he’ll grab a coffee and just watch Chanyeol work, which sounds better to be more precise, and maybe he’ll learn the little things that made up the whole Park Chanyeol, yeah, to know more about him, Baekhyun giggled lightly at the thought before skipping on the pavements happily.

Happily, until someone bumped him that send the petite boy to the railings, which hurt a lot, mind you. “Oh! I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry!” A tall silhouette hovers above Baekhyun, yes, silhouette, his vision is getting blurry with each passing second, damn, I must’ve hit my head or some—his thoughts were interrupted as he lose consciousness

, Kris cursed as he hauled the unconscious boy on to his back before running towards the nearest hospital in the vicinity, which is just across the road, luckily, or else, Kris might’ve dropped the boy in state of panic

Aw, my head hurts, what happened? Baekhyun groaned as he put a hand on his head, last time he remembered, he is on his way to the café Chanyeol and Kyungsoo worked at to grab some coffee (and stalk Chanyeol), but he hit his head somewhere… ah! There’s someone who bumped him!

“Ah, you’re awake, thank god” Baekhyun snapped his head to the right to see a tall (and very handsome, no scratch that, he’s gorgeous) man hovering over him. He narrowed his eyes at the sight, such a waste of handsome face when his first impression is that he damaged Baekhyun’s head while the latter is on his way to meet the mate of his soul (what?), “who are- no, why did you do that?!” Baekhyun hissed at the much taller man before he clutch his head again in pain, he’s handsome, but stupid

“I’m really sorry, I mean no harm, I was just so excited to see my little Chanyeol since I’ve been away for so long” the taller man said to Baekhyun, longing dripping in his voice, he must really love this Chanyeol, he’s lucky his Chanyeol has the same name as my Chanyeol, “Fine,” Baekhyun sighed, “Just help me out of here, I still need to see Park Chanyeol” the petite man smiled at the giant’s image laughing

“Wait, Park Chanyeol? As in, tall guy with big ears and teeth-rich smile?” The tall man asked Baekhyun and he just nodded, “wait, he’s your Chanyeol? I though Yeol doesn’t have a girlfriend… but he has a boyfriend” hurt is evident in the petite boy’s voice before removing the IV connected on him, “don’t bother with the bill, I got it” Baekhyun wiped his tears hastily as he stormed out of the ER, never mind his head is hurting like hell, he’ll manage to live long until he got back to their dorm, and maybe tell Joonmyeon what happened; and maybe even Luhan; and he’ll avenge him *inserts evil laugh here*, but he suddenly remembered how Joonmyeon is very soft and won’t hurt anyone, so he just opt to sulk on his bed later and drown in a box of ice cream while watching High School Love On and maybe watch Titanic again

Unfortunately, he bumped into someone again, luckily, he didn’t bounced back on the railings, or he would go back to the hospital again, and he has no intention of meeting with the tall stranger again, “Baek?” the one who he bumped into said, Baekhyun widened his eyes as he recognize the owner of the voice, Chanyeol… No! Don’t waver, he has a boyfriend already, he glared at him then pushed him to the side before strutting away, but Chanyeol pulled him back, “Baek, what’s wrong?” Baekhyun couldn’t take it anymore, tears just flowed down his eyes, he felt his heart constrict, after some breaths, loud, painful sobs came out which made Chanyeol worried as he pull Baekhyun near his heart.

“I know I’m stupid… but I can’t help it, I’ve fallen for you, and then… I suddenly found out you have a boyfriend, and he is so tall, so handsome, he is a fine specimen, while I’m not… it just hurts so much” Baekhyun sobbed against Chanyeol’s chest, until he felt vibrations indicating that the taller male is laughing, the smaller male looked up, appalled, then angry, “you think that’s funny?! Of course, it wasn’t you who felt it, it wasn’t you-” Baekhyun was cut off in the middle of his dramatic monologue when a pair of lips touches his own. He temporarily forgot to throw his fit as he melt into the momentum, the passion, the love, oh well, until he remembered that the man he is kissing is already committed. So he stopped, he froze in the middle of his impulse, as if his force run out, where time slows down, so the momentum is weaker, his senses came back and he pushed Chanyeol away, panting hard, “How can you do that to your boyfriend? I love you, but I am not desperate enough to covet someone else’s lover, don’t play with me” Baekhyun looked hurt, and felt miserable as he thought he slowly discovered Chanyeol’s downsides, he thought, Chanyeol chuckled again before looking deep into Baekhyun’s eyes, “I love you too, and Kris hyung is not my boyfriend, that would be , and there’s no way in galaxy I’d ever like him ally, okay? Sure I love him, but that’s filial love, so don’t conclude things” Chanyeol rolled his eyes

Baekhyun thought he just blown up his chances of giving a good image on Chanyeol’s beloved hyung, imagine the shame

“That was embarrassing hyung, how stupid must you be, I’m sure there is some similarities right? They’re cousins!” Sehun exclaimed after Baekhyun told him what happened earlier; the cause of his wound and some details here and there; and the elder hung his head in shame, “I know, no need to slap it hard on my face, I was just emotional, plus this injury on my head didn’t help, I think it worsened my situation” Baekhyun pouted, “but on the bright side… we kissed” he continued, with a grin that looks like his face is going to rip apart. Sehun just rolled his eyes and replied with a snarky comeback, “stop that hyung, your face is going to split apart”, Baekhyun rolled his eyes, “you’re lucky my head is throbbing hard” he said and the younger man just chuckled

“Byun Baekhyun! Where on earth did you got that wound?!” Luhan’s voice boomed inside the house, making Baekhyun jump out of the couch and land onto the floor, stupid, “aw, hyung! Don’t surprise me! I think my tailbone is fractured” the latter pouted before climbing back onto the couch, Luhan narrowed his eyes further, creeping the hell out of Sehun, “it wasn’t me hyung! ThisstupidbaconwasonhiswaymeetingChanyeolthenhebumpedintothegiant’soldercousinnamedKrease-”

“Did you say Kris?” Luhan was stiffened, and SeBaek nodded their heads slowly before jumping in surprise when Luhan fainted

“Hyung!””Lulu!” They ran to his side, just in time to learn…

“History… is… repeating…. He is here….”

A/N: Waaah!!! I'm deeply sorry to not have update for almost a year on this! T.T I'm terribly sorry, really, but it suddenly slipped my mind, and it's finally my last year on junior high school, so it was harder than ever, it almost seemed like it was signing for clearance from the start, and I really can't be too sure with everything, I need to be alert since I'm running for honors, so it's hard T.T 

I'm not abandoning this fic, nor am I ending this fic, because wth? It haven't even reached yet, I just hope you can wait patiently like you've been doing all this time because I don't want to rush this, I want every chapter to be worthwile, or rather, exceeds 1K words XD anyway, thank you! ^^
