To Kyungsoo, Sehun had gone through so much in his life and he wished that he could be the one who was able to put Sehun at ease. Nothing really matter to him but Sehun's happiness yet it only left just a mere wish that could not be fulfilled when Kai came back into their life out of the blue. Kyungsoo kept his gaze at the photo of Sehun kissing his cheek two years back, sighing a little as he ran his thumb on it. He missed him; he missed the old Sehun. A small smile curled up on his lips at the memory of his best friend surprising him with an owl cake on his birthday. Sehun had always known him well, from his favorite to his dislike but never once he braced up to tell the younger about his feelings and now it was just too late for him to confess. 

Putting the photo back in the drawer, he glanced down at the sleeping Sehun on the bed; staring at the peacefully sleeping guy with a pain crawling back up to his chest. Loving a best friend was painful let alone to see that guy bearing someone's child in his tummy. It saddened him to know that it wasn't his to share the happiness with his loved one. Something about Sehun made his world blackened, maybe it was because of the unrequited love he was holding for ages at the other. A tear was threatening to fall but he quickly looked away when Sehun stirred in his sleep, Sehun did not have to know about his sadness. 

He supposed to be happy for him. 

"Soo..." Sehun croaked, looking up at his best friend with squinted eyes; trying to clear his vision by rubbing his eyes with his palm. "What time is it now?" 

Taking a deep breath, Kyungsoo turned to look at the other with a smile on his lips; also reassuring himself that everything would be alright with Sehun beside him. "It is almost ten, Hunnie." He took a seat on the edge of the bed and ruffled Sehun's hair in delight. 

"I'm still sleepy." Sehun leaned into the touch and hummed in contentment. "I don't feel like getting up." 

"Your baby needs a breakfast, sleepy head. C'mon, I've made you something and it's getting cold." 

"I want to have a chicken porridge for my breakfast." Sehun pouted, whining slightly as Kyungsoo chuckled. "I'm serious, Soo." 

"That's what you're going to have today." And that was enough to make Sehun squealed in excitement. Kyungsoo had always known him better and it was because Sehun had said it for several times already, maybe it was the time Kyungsoo made a special chicken porridge for the latter. 

"He doesn't need me." 

"You hoe, what effort had you shown him to make him accept you? I think he'd grown attach to Kyungsoo because of your failed attempt at consoling him. If I were Sehun, I'd marry Kyungsoo instead of waiting for a stupid guy named Kim Jongin." Taemin grumbled, making Kai shoot him with a glare but he could not care less and rolled his eyes in exasperation. 

"Excuse me?" 

"What? I'm telling the truth." 

Kai wanted to retort but he knew that Taemin was right and he could not make up any point to prove Taemin he was wrong for saying that. Instead he huffed and slumped in his chair when he could not find any sentence to spill. Taemin has been a good motivator for years and there was no way in hell he could defeat his best friend. 

"Life's ." Kai complained and Taemin chuckled to see his best friend dejected look and seemed as if he was going to rip his hair apart in any second; it was precious to Taemin and he knew that the tanned guy would cry in his sleep after this because of the frustration at getting Sehun back to his arms. 

"Listen, Kai." Taemin sighed and spoke; sounding serious this time before adding, "Sehun needs attention and he can not be stress with anything." 

"I know but-,"

"Shut up and listen to me." Taemin cut him off and Kai huffed in defeat. "You haven't seen him for two days, am I right?" 

"Yea..." 

"And why is that?" Taemin tried harder to have a slow talk with his best friend instead of riling up the latter, and proceeded as he saw Kai straightened up, ready to talk. "You're not giving up, are you?" 

"I am." Kai nonchalantly admitted. "I'm giving up now. It's not that I haven't tried at all but it comes out worthless. Sehun does not want me close but I can't blame him because it's my entire fault. I don't know what else should I do to make him open his heart again for me. He had enough with me, I think it isn't going to work out unless miracle happens." He rubbed his face with his palm
