Chapter 18

Week 22 - These days, the only things growing more rapidly than your baby's senses may be her mommy's feet!

“Kim!!! My foot hurt, so does my back!! I WANT A MASSAGE!!!” Pie is whining in pain. She is in her 6 months of the pregancy, since last month her bump has grown quiet fast, even thought it’s still not that big but it makes her suffer in pain, well… she is not the only one!

“Okay okay! Pie I’m coming!” Kim runs fast to Pie, bents down to massage her foot but then she hits him on the head.

“My foot is not that hurt, my back is killing me, you IDIOT!! Massage my back!!”

And Kim stands up, sits beside her to and massages for her…

“Yes, that it!! Yes, so good~~ Stronger, uh huh, go down lower, on the right, ok!!”

“Hey baby, if it hurts that much why don’t you go to spa? They have pregnancy massage service.”

“WHAT?? Now doing a little bit for me makes you that bored and tired?? Want to dump me so you can be free then go out to seek on beautiful woman?? I KNEW IT, I knew that this day would come *sob sob sob*” It’s a pain in the to say but yes Pie’s hormones are something horrible the most in Kim’s life.

“NO!! That not what I mean!! It for your own good, they know how and where to ease your pain, while I’m not baby, they’re professional!!”

“Really? You won’t dump me, will you?”

“YES how can I dump you!? You’re my life, and more is you carry our baby, this make me love you more and more!!”

“Hehehe I’m sorry for not trusting you!! But will you accompany me to the spa?” Pie back to her happy mode again.

“Of course! Anytime you like, or we can go right now!!” Kim, still massages for her, said.

“Then we should go now, I don’t want my husband to be miserable.” Pie quickly stands up to change her clothes.

“You’ve already!!” *sigh* Kim thought.

Kim drives Pie to the spa, where Pie’s pains will be soothes smoothly, Kim just waits for her. After about 3 hours, Pie’s done with her pampering. They’re on their way home, when Pie’s got a message from Yam.

From: Yam

“Hey Princess! Your baby shower will be next week, remember that! And Jane said she will come this weekend, Peii and I are later, Nerd will be there 2 days before the shower ;”> And don’t do anything until we come, we will prepare everything for you guys!!”

“Hey Yam said Jane will come this weekend to help us preparing the shower! And Yam and Peii will come later. When will our parents come?”

“Oh my parents told me they would come three days before, and so will your parents!!”

“Uh huh! Oh my… we will know our baby’s gender next week, the wait is so long!! I can’t wait any more!!”

“Me too, but that what was we wanted so don’t be nervous, or lose your patience… How is your back?”

“It better, they’re really good!!”

“I told you so!” Kim is happy because Pie is happy.

Week 23 - Baby is getting (a little) plumper, but Mommy may notice something completely different when she glances at her own belly: the linea nigra.

 The week has passed. All of Kim and Pie’s friends are on their working progress for Pie’s baby shower, Peii and Jane take care of the decorate, Yam and Sauli takes a responsibality with guests’s list, Yam invites guest from ThaiLand and Sauli invites from LA, Nerd of course baking cake, Adam and their parents takes care of the places and other matters, Kim and Pie!? Well they do only one thing, named… nothing!!

5PM- Four Seasons Hotel’s garden

“Put the vase there, right!!” Peii and Jane are really busy with the decoration. They are running around, take care of every little details in the garden, they want it to be perfect.

The baby shower will be held in a beautiful garden. The guests will be walk on the red carped lead from entrance to garden, the garden are being cover by tree fencs, it’s a romantic kind of garden. Connect with it a large ballroom where a buffet party will be held for over 400 hundres guests of Kim and Pie, in the garden is derorating with a lot of baby’s stuffs, like toys, clothes,… and in middle is a giant 5 floors beautiful cake, colors of the cake are baby blue of the top floor, yellow of  second floor, lime green of third floor and the last is light pink, at the top floor is a little baby riding on a rubber duck, a rainbow slider is go around the cake from top to the last floor, and all the floors been decorated with baby clothes and toys made by mashmarllow fondants.

“Wow, wow I’m amazed Nerd! You are such an artist, how can anyone know that about you with your face is always like a zombie like that!?” Peii is teasing also compliments Nerd’s cake, which she glares at him and everyone else laugh so hard.

“Don’t Peii… After all we have to thank her for her effort right?” Pie said.

“But whatever it is, the most important now is the color inside the cake!!” Yam said excited.

“Yes it is!!” Jane agreed.

“Guests are starting to arrive, we go out now Pie.” Kim said and takes Pie with him.

“See ya later guys!!” Pie waves to her friends.

At 6PM all the guests are at the party, their baby shower has been named was one of the most famous and wanted in Hollywood, because of their guests most are Hollywood’s superstars or at least are someone very important like millionaire or billionaire (some of them are Kim’s bussiness partner), other left are their families from Pie and Kim’s side and their best friends. The party starts, people have their foods and drinks, some singers or bands go on stage to rock the night, eveyone are enjoying their time. And the biggest moment has come, the moment which every single person here is waiting for… CUT THE GENDER CAKE!!

People gather around the cake in the garden, there even some camera mans who filming the scence and show it on the big screen for anyone that can’t see or just to keep the memories. Adam is the MC of the nights because of his sense of humor, and he is holding his precious mic, Kim and Pie are holding a knife to cut the cake.

“SO ladies and gentlemens, this is our most special time, because we will soon know the gender of Mr and Mrs Jittaleela here!! For me I hope it’s a girl so I can be it’s godfather… YAY!!” He said the last sentence in kid’s voice which caught everyone to laugh at him.

“OK!! WAIT NO MORE… Guys cut it!!” He turns to the couple and orders them.

Kim and Pie look at each other eyes, they’re nervous, so are thyeir guests, especially their families and friends.

 Nobody breath in that moment...

The moment when Kim and Pie are holding hands with a knife sliding down the cake…

When the cake divided into half…

 They open it to see what color is inside…

It’s PINK!! No one said a word, no one dare to breath hard, the air is silenced

“OMG!!! IT”S REAL!! I’m going to be a FATHER!!” Adam yells happily, breaks the silence.

“Ehem Adam “GOD”Father!!” Pie’s dad clears his throat and corrects Adam. He just smiles at the older man.

“Kim and Pie are so shocking, shocking but happy… They’re having a baby girl!! Kim pulls Pie into his arms and hugs her so tight, Pie’s eyes are teary.

“So I win!!” Kim grinds happily.

“Yes I know!! I’m always know!!” Pie hugs him back, yes truthfully Pie is always know but she is too eager to admit what was she already said. All of their families, friends, guest are congratule them, the night couldn’t be more perfect~~
