Hours later, Yuri finally woke up from her sleep.

Her head was pounding and was dry.

So, she stood up and went to the kitchen to get a drink.

She had planned to go back to sleep as she's still not ready to face reality.

The reality of which Yoona is back and the fact that she might have to make a choice between Yoona and Tiffany.

As she walks out of the room, she felt weird as she can smell something nice coming from the kitchen.

She felt scared and suspicious.

'What's this smell...? Nobody should be here at this time...'

Yuri grabbed the nearest item to defend herself, which is an umbrella.

She slowly approached the kitchen and swung the door open.

She dropped the umbrella and her eyes widen.

“What are you doing here?”

“Yuri-ah...”

“How...How did you get in my room?”

“Tiffany came by and left and the door was open...”

“...”

“Look, I'm sorry...If you need me to leave...I-”

“It's...It's okay...”

Yoona felt a slight relief that Yuri didn't ask her to leave and took it as a sign that Yuri might still take her back.

“You still haven't answered me, why are you here?”

“I came to see you, and to see if you're alright.”

“I'm fine, I just have a headache that's all, so is there anything else?”

Yoona looked down and shook her head.

Seeing this, Yuri felt slightly guilty.

“What are you cooking?”

“Porridge? I thought maybe you could-”

“Why are you doing this?”

“I told you, I want a second chance with you. I also need to explain things to you.”

“Like what?”

“You should probably eat first...”

“Yoona...”

“Why did you date Tiffany?”

“...”

“You wanted to take her away from Taeyeon, right?”

“...Yes, but-”

“Although, it was partially Tiffany's fault that I had to leave...”

“What does that mean?”

“What I meant is that Tiffany convinced Taeyeon to send me away using all those excuses...”

“...You're not lying, are you?”

“I'm not, at least not to you...”

Yuri got angry and tried to call Tiffany.

Yoona sighed and stopped Yuri from calling.

“Please, calm down first before you look for her...”

“But-”

“What? How could you possibly go out in that state...”

“...I need to know why she did all that and still agreed to go out with me. She had no reason to, at least that's how I see it.”

“You wanted to take Tiffany away from Taeyeon, true but why would Tiffany leave Taeyeon, she loved her, she still does. It doesn't make sense...”

“Everything doesn't make sense to me as of now...”

“Do you...”

“...What?”

“Do you actually love Tiffany?”

“I don't know...”

“Oh...”

Yoona felt hurt at the latter's reply.

“I need to go now...” Yoona said

Yuri flinched and grabbed Yoona's wrist.

“What are you doing?”

“...Sorry.”

Yuri lets go of Yoona's wrist.

“Where are you going?” Yuri asked

“To look for Taeyeon.”

“What? Are you both-”

“She apologized to me...”

“Ah...so that's how you know about Tiffany and me...”

“She already told me everything that happened while I was gone...”

“...But can I go with you? Tomorrow?”

“Why tomorrow?”

“It's quite late now...”

“Oh... I didn't notice...Fine. I'm leaving now, then.”

“Wait, where are you going?”

“Back home? You said it yourself, it's late now.”

“...Then...”

Yoona looked at Yuri and waited for the latter to continue her sentence.

“...then couldn't you just stay for tonight?”

“I...”

“Or are you going to leave me again? I thought you wanted a second chance with me...?”

Yoona sighed

“Do you still love me? Or do you love Tiffany?”

“Right now, I'm not sure about Tiffany, I need answers from her. But, yes, I still love you.”

“Then, that's enough for me.”

Yuri softly held Yoona's hands and asked

“Do you still need to go?”

“...No. I guess not.”

Yuri stood up and hugged Yoona tightly.

“I've missed you so much.”

“I'm so sorry for being afraid to try.”

“No...I'm sorry for not trying to hold on to you...”

Yoona watched as Yuri ate.

Feeling awkward, Yuri looked up and asked

“Why do you keep looking at me?”

“Because, it's been a long time since I've been with you this way and I missed you.”

Yuri smiled

“I see, leaving for a few years changed you.”

“What do you mean? I feel like I'm still the same.”

“You're not as shy as you were back then.”

After eating and cleaning up, Yoona suggested that she'd sleep on the sofa so Yuri could sleep in comfort as Yuri wasn't feeling good.

“We could both just sleep on the bed, like we used to.”

“But wouldn't you feel uncomfortable?”

“I'd feel more uncomfortable if you slept on the sofa.”

Yoona gave in to Yuri and decided to sleep on the bed.

Yuri couldn't sleep and continued to stare at Yoona. She thought the latter was asleep.

Yuri caressed Yoona's cheeks and kissed Yoona on the lips.

“Did you just steal a kiss from me?”
 

“I- I didn't know you were still awake. I-”

Yoona cut Yuri off by kissing her.

“I missed this.”

“Me too.”

Yuri pulled Yoona closer and minutes later, they both fell asleep.
