Donghae wakes up to the sound of a soft sigh, a sound that makes him wish he were fully awake to register it.

"Minah?" The first word that escapes his lips.

Minah doesn't respond, worrying Donghae. He pushes the covers off of his bare chest and rubs his eyes. Minah still isn't aware that he is up, even as he looks at the back of her head and smiles.

Minah is sitting at the bay window with a cup of tea so fragrant, that Donghae can smell it from where he is. Her eyes are fixed on the world outside, lost yet determined. She's only dressed in one of Donghae's white shirts, and he smiles.

He loves it when she wears his clothes.

He makes his way over to Minah. She jumps when she feels a pair of strong arms wrap around her waist, and his warm and well-built chest press against her back.

"You're up early," she says, tilting her face so Donghae can kiss her cheek.

"So are you."

Minah smiles, taking a sip of her tea. "Always am. You know I wake up—"

"At the break of dawn," Donghae interrupts. "I know." He gently pushes her forward so he can sit behind her. Once settled, Minah leans back on his chest and places her hands on top of his on her stomach.

Her cup of tea is forgotten already.

"I like watching the sun rise," Minah states, making invisible designs on the window's glass.

Donghae squeezes her gently, kissing the top of her head. "I know."

"And I like watching you sleep so peacefully." She can feel Donghae's eyes on her, but she keeps making strange patterns on the glass. "You're like a baby, you know that?"

His throaty chuckle that follows vibrates through his chest, and Minah loves the feel of it against her back.

Suddenly, Donghae grabs her hand off the glass and holds it in his, bringing it to his lips to brush against her hand.

Minah blushes, pulling her hand away. But Donghae reaches for it again and plac
