CHAERIN'S POV

"Chaerin!! Hurry up! We're gonna pick your cousin up on the train station," I heard my dad called up for me from downstairs. 

"ALRIGHT I'M COMING!" I yelled back as I finished my still wet hair into a messy bun and put my cap on. I ran my way downstairs then ran towards my dad's direction. 

I jumped onto his back for piggy back ride that made him surprised and spilled some of his coffee from his cup, "I'm here dad! Let's go!" I said chuckling. 

"Yah. Don't do that again good thing my coffee's not that hot. Or else," he told me a little annoyed but I just laughed as his eyebrows scrunched in anger. 

I stopped myself from laughing, cleared my throat then stood straight, "Sorry sir. It won't happen again," then I put my other hand behind and saluted the other acting like a soldier. 

"Keep up the good work, soldier," my dad said. We both laughed at each other. My dad's my everything. He raised me by himself, well, he got some help from my uncle Tablo, Seungrat's father, but most of the care and love I received were from him.

The day mom left, dad was really a mess for a week but the next days he just put it all behind and moved on with his life for he said that the important thing was he still have me. His princess he said. But he raised me by his own way that turned me out to be a bit boyish. But I don't complain about it, because I really love him that much.

We walked our way to our front door to go and fetch my cousin to the train station. That cousin of mine was from Seoul. She doesn't go here always. She just go here whenever it's summer to have a vacation. We're close for we used to live together here in Busan when we're young.

They just moved to Seoul because her mother's working place was there. I opened the door and got surprised to who I saw, "Chaerin!!" she yelled as she hugged me at the same time. 

I hugged her back tightly, "Taeyeon!!" I yelled back then we jumped up and down and spin around while still hugging each other, "I missed you!" we both said at the same time when we pulled away then held hands. We laughed at ourselves when we realized that we said it in unison. 

Dad patted both of our heads like a kid smiling then Taeyeon hugged him too as a greeting, "I missed you too, uncle. How are you?" Taeyeon asked him. 

"I'm fine, sweetheart. How's the trip?" dad asked her as we helped her carry all of her luggages. 

"YAH RAT! UNCLE! TAEYEON'S HERE!!" I called for them as I carried some of my cousin's bags. This cousin of mine was really girly. We're totally different when it comes to appearance. She's prettier than me. And she wore dresses most of the time unlike me jeans and over-sized shirts will work for me.

Seungrat and Uncle Tablo eventually came out of nowhere and greeted Taeyeon as well. They hugged each other too and asked her how's her trip. They started talking and telling stories while I excused myself to prepare some food in the kitchen. 

When I got back to the living room, I saw Minzy was already there too and my dad introduced her to Taeyeon. When they finished shaking their hands, Minzy hurriedly ran to me and whispered, "Girl, I heard GD, Sol and Daesung talking a while ago. They're coming here," she said excitedly loud enough just for the two of us to hear.

I looked at her in confusion because she was too excited just knowing that GD and the others were coming over, "Why are you so excited? They're really gonna go here because we're gonna play ball later," I whispered back. 

"I know, but I heard that he had a slow motion moment with you," she whispered back excitedly then clapped her hands again in joy. 

My eyes widened in surprise. I never expected that GD will be having a slow motion moment with me. Omona! I didn't noticed that I'm smiling while thinking about it. Could it be the one while we're talking with our faces so close to each other three months ago? Omg.

GD, are you finally inlove with me too?

My smile got wider thinking about it then the next thing I knew GD was at our front door standing with Sol and Daesung behind him. He was looking at me. Maybe? But nevermind. Oh my gosh. Is this the moment? Omo! I'm not prepared.

"Bom noona's right, my dream girl is here," he said while staring at my direction. 

I smiled wider. I looked at him then asked, "Me?"

"IT'S YOU!" I turned around to the owner of the voice and found out that it was my own cousin Taeyeon who shouted it while pointing at GD and she's behind me.

Wait, they know each other? Maybe she's the one GD's looking at, not me. My smile quickly vanished from my lips and it turned into a frown.

"Uncles! It's him! He's the boy I was telling you. The boy at the park I saw earlier. The cute boy that I had my first slow motion with," Taeyeon said excitedly. GD was still staring at her with his bright smile.

"Oh, Jiyong! Come here. This is my niece, Taeyeon. Kim Taeyeon. From Seoul. She'll be having a vacation here," dad introduced as GD moved forward to Taeyeon then shook hands with her. 

"H-hi. I'm Ji-Jiyong. K-Kwon Jiyong. I saw yo-you too this morning. You were riding a cab," he said and he sounded nervous. Wow. The great heartbreaker, lost his confidence in front of my cousin. How cool is that?

"Yeah. I saw you too. With your sister, I guess? Nice meeting you. I'm Taeyeon. Kim Taeyeon, Chaerin's cousin. You two know each other?" she said smiling happily then looked at me as she asked the question.

"Uhm. Yes. He's my best friend, unfortunately," I said jokingly and forced a smile. A fake one. GD seems not to noticed what I said for he was still staring at her while still smiling brightly. 

After that, they started talking to each other. I guess they're getting to know each other already. The others continued eating what I've prepared while talking to one another. I was left alone with Minzy. We were watching GD and Taeyeon that were laughing and talking non-stop.

"Hey. I'm sorry. I heard it wrong. Sorry Chae," Minzy sincerely said as she held my hand that clenched into fist without me noticing it while I stared at GD and Taeyeon. 

I sighed then looked at Minzy, "It's alright. That was very impossible to happen anyway," I said then faked a smile. Minzy just nodded then didn't say a word anymore. 

I thought he finally felt the same way towards me. 

Why does it hurts so much?
