Kim went back to the library to check the third floor.  She checked first if Pie was around, she went upstairs.  She checked the book on the shelf.  Her note was still there so she went to the table and seated.  She noticed there was another engraved marking on the chair.  It was marked:

“Stick with her, fight for her.”

She there was a man waved at her standing on the shelf where the book with her note was.  He approached the man and she noticed this man was not the man she saw first.

“Who are you?  What do you want?”  Kim asked.

The man just nodded and pointed the book with her note and vanished.

Pie took the book; she checked every page and saw nothing.  She checked again the page 178, and then she saw a note on the page written by a pencil on the next page.

“To those who will reply her last note, you’ll be in danger.  He wanted her.  If you love her, fight for her.  Show to him that you love her because that his weakness.  I lost the fight; defeat him for me and for her.”

               She took the picture using her phone then her phone rang, it was Pie calling her.

               “I’m at your house; Aunt In said that you’re in school.  Are you at the library?”  Pie asked.

               Kim didn’t answer, she saw the guy again at the table.

“Kim?  Answer me!”

The guy stood up and started to walk closer to her. 

“Pie, stay there.  Wait for me.” She said on the phone and ran to stairs and went out the building.

Pie was sitting on the couch waiting for Kim.  She heard footsteps outside so immediately opened the door.

“Kim, did I tell you not to go back to the library again?  You’re not listening to me, Kim!”  Pie raised her voice.

“Pie,..” She grabbed her hand. “I have something to show to you.”  They went inside Kim’s room.

Pie was shocked.  Kim showed to her the loves notes posted all around wall of the room.

“Maybe the guy got angry because of these and I saw another guy pointed a book on the shelf and I saw his message, this was his message.”  She showed the picture on her phone to Pie.

“It was me who wrote these notes, Kim.”

“I don’t understand Pie.”  Kim asked.

Pie seated at Kim’s bed.  “I was still in high school, I was on my third year, there was a guy courted me, a senior.  His name was Mike.  He was good looking but I don’t like him.  I made him a promise that I will accept his love if I got into college and at the same university he will attended too.  One year later, he went home gave me a registration form for scholarship.  He prepared all my requirements and I took that for granted.  Luckily, I passed the scholarship exam and got into the university where he studied.  Then I met Maysa, he was on my block.  I chose him than Mike.  Mike got angry and he killed himself at the library and Maysa and I broke up three days before the suicide.  The school board and the police were investigating about Mike’s suicide.  Only Jack, Mike’s best friend and I only knew about the cause.  We don’t want to be investigated so we just kept silent.  I was depressed from a broken heart, Jack comforted me then suddenly we fell in love.  We kept our relationship a secret for two years.  We were both working at the library, he was assigned on the third floor and I on the first floor.  We only communicate through our eyes and the notes like what we did.  One day, he changed.  His actions changed looked like he was trying to break up and he didn’t responded to our notes anymore until he just gone, vanished, missing, I don’t know.  I still wrote him a note, maybe one day he will respond and that was two years ago.  I checked the book every day until you did.  I’m sorry I got you in this trouble.”

Kim kneeled in front of Pie and held her hand.  “Don’t worry Pie, I chose to be part of this trouble.  Please let me go to the library and face him.  I want to show him that you’re mine.  I want to show him how much I love you.  I want to show him that I can fight for you.  But I can’t do all of these if you don’t let me.  I can’t do this without you, Pie.  I can’t do this without you by my side.  I can’t do this without your help.  I can’t do this without your love.  Let’s show to him how much we love each other.  We can do this, we can defeat him.”

“Do you know the feeling that you are happy in love and at the same time you’re afraid?  Pie asked.

“Yes Pie, but don’t be afraid.  I’m with you.”  Kim answered.

Pie nodded, kneeled and hugged Kim.
