Foreword
"I've got you. I've got you" she heard a husky voice said. The voice of her manly intruder. "Thank God I reached you just in time. I thought I wouldn't make it fast enough"
Being still in a trance of the sudden situation, her mind couldn't quite comprehend of what's happening. She was lost for words, or so she thought, until-
"Calla Lily!" she unknowingly muttered. "What did you say?" he was caught of guard from her unusual response.
"You smell like Calla Lily" she said again and lifted her face from his chest after inhaling his scent from his suit.
"Uh-huh~" he suddenly felt unsure of what to say the moment he looked at her. Gosh, she's lovely and she has the most beautiful brown eyes I've ever seen. Like a darker shade of Topaz. "I have some in my office, why?"
But instead of answering him, she was instantly send back to reality. Her sudden realization of their awkward situation had made her feel uncomfortable being this close in proximity with a stranger. Why was this guy even holding her in his arms like this? She gathered back her wits to push him away and staggered a little before she regain her balance on the parapet.
"Please let go of me. What do you think you're doing, mister?" she demanded. She suddenly felt furious to think that this guy is taking advantage of her, most especially with her disability.
On the other hand, his eyes widen. "What was I doing? What were you doing? Don't you know you could have died if you had fallen down?"
"What I was doing was none of your business" she replied and stepped to the edge again, ready to continue where she left off. But then, he immediately stopped her. "Hey, what's your problem?"
"No. What's your problem?" he retorted back, frustration is evident in his voice. He can't let this happen. He clearly doesn't want to stain their Corporation's clean name with a suicidal case just like that. Not in a million years.
