We used to know that all stories begin with, Once upon a time and ends with, a happily ever after.

It’s stupid to think that love stories truly exist. That it happens in real life. That one day, a prince came and kissed Sleeping beauty then, they lived happily ever after. But I choose to believe in that. Not that I believe that kissing a sleeping person could make a happily ever after, rather I believe that love exists and we are the ones who ought to make it happen, in ourselves.

I’ve read about all sorts of stories. Love stories. Human who falls in love with a geek, a nerd, her best friend, a killer, a vampire, a werewolf, a fallen angel or a non-existent creature. Love looks so beautiful in books. So perfect, that I started to doubt whether they could somehow turn real. They say that if you want the perfect guy, go ahead and read books. That’s true. I want it to happen to me but I never got the perfect scenery, the perfect place, the perfect time and, the perfect guy.

Will I ever find the one?

Will I be able to live out my own fairytale?
