To read, to believe
When Kyungsoo was 9 years old, he was already excelent at reading. Other than that, he also loved to read. He read almost all the time. He read when the others were watching television, he read when they were driving, he always read.
Ofcourse, it was good that he read. It wasn't like it was with Baekhyun, Jongdae and Chanyeol. The three of them never read. It wasn't that they couldn't do it. They just didn't want to. Neither Yixing, Luhan nor Minseok had been obsessed with reading. It was only Kyungsoo.
There was one thing which wasn't good about all the reading though. What is it, you probably ask. The thing was, that Kyungsoo believed everything he read.
Teachers at school always said to trust books, and not the internet. Exactly that, was what Kyungsoo did.

The first time Joonmyun and Yifan realized that Kyungsoo belived his books, was when he came to them, asking a question they hadn't been asked before.
"Daddy, Papa," the little boy said, holding a book under his arm. "Do you think I can meet the little prince?" He looked at them with big, innocent eyes. It was clear that he wasn't kidding, and that he wanted an answer.
Neither Joonmyun nor Yifan knew how to answer. Yifan had no idea what the boy meant, he didn't really read books either. Joonmyun knew what he was asking about. He had read 'The Little Prince' a lot of times - and he still read it.
Joonmyun was the first one, of the adults to answer their son.
"Why do you want to meet him?" Joonmyun asked while looking at his son. He himself, had wanted to meet 'the little prince' when he was a child too.
"He seems like an interresting person," Kyungsoo said honestly, "And he's smaller than me." The expression the little boy had on his face, was pure happiness.
He was happy that he finally had finished the book. He was also happy that his Daddy wanted to answer his question.
"I'm sure you can meet him someday, Kyungsoo-ah," Yifan said. He couldn't help but smile at how happy his son looked.
"You really think so?" Kyungsoo asked, just to be sure. His eyes were once again wide and shining. Then he ran off, while yelling a happy 'thank you Papa'.
When the boy was out of sight, Joonmyun looked worried at Yifan.
"Are you sure it's good to encourage things that won't happen?" he asked. What could happen if Kyungsoo believed everything he read? Joonmyun wasn't sure if it was healthy.
"Don't worry so much," Yifan said as he pulled Joonmyun into his arms. "He's going to realize that not everything from books are real."
Joonmyun couldn't help but worry a bit though.

Another time, Kyungsoo came to Joonmyun to ask him a question once again. This time he hadn't read 'The little Prince'. This time it was 'Spiderwick'. It had taken him some time to read all the books, but now he was proud that he had actually finished all of them.
"Daddy, did you ever meet a goblin?" Kyungsoo asked. He looked really interested, like he really hoped that Joonmyun had seen one.
It wasn't Joonmyun who answered him though. It was Yixing who was sitting beside him.
He looked at his little brother like he was an idiot. "Kyungsoo there is no such thing as goblins," he said. He couldn't believe that his brother actually believed these things. These things wasn't real, and the boy was 10. He should know that by then.
Kyungsoo's eyes widdened and began to water. It was obvious that he was about to cry.
Yixing sighed and left the room. His brother was too childish, that it was almost annoying.
Joonmyun looked after Yixing, and then figured his gaze at Kyungsoo. The little boy was trying hard to keep the tears in, but his cheeks were already wet.
"Kyungsoo-ah," Joonmyun called. The little boy hurried over to his daddy, and burried his face in the warm chest. He didn't even try to hold the tears any longer, and just let them fall.
"Kyungsoo-ah, don't listen to Yixing," Joonmyun said as he played with his son's hair.
"But, he said there are n-no goblins," Kyungsoo sobbed. It was hard to understand what he said, but Joonmyun caught it. To understand peopl
